TLDR remove exhaust smoke
diesel or gasoline doesnt matter, 4 stroke engines dont exhaust smoke
except if the engine is poorly maintained causing the oil to get into the combustion chamber
or too rich fuel mixture like when accelerating
a healthy engine maybe produce smoke but not that much
