Ships Generally take a much longer time to build and cost more money thab a tank or a plane, which is why gaijin gives them more leeway.

The keel of a naval vessel alone could probably be used to make multiple tanks or planes.

Although the Tiger II 10,5 uses the Tiger II hull, that doesn’t mean it can be added, as that isnt a vehicle specific part.

Wasn’t the Panther II assembled, but in a different configuration than in game?

They have wasted far more resources on failed games, like exponentially more.

Yes

I could see that being added in place of the fictional ingame one.

Wasn’t there also something with the tiger II 10.6cm having a different configuration plan than the one ingame aswell or am I mismerrmebrring?

Physically the 10,5 couldn’t fit in the Tiger II’s turret and be operatable iirc

I saw plans but don’t think any partial prototype materialised

I think these are the plans

Thanks for the confirmation

what do you mean my Csaba doesn’t get it’s 14 inch auloaded naval cannon with full stailizers!, this is tyranny!

Devs said multiple times for years now vehicles strated but not finished nonmatter how complete and even completed paper designs if needed will be considered in naval where gaps are evident.

These ships, though untealisticly optimum compared to most historians thoughts on how bad they were designed, meet this standard.

Tiger 105 and panther were removed vecause they are physically impossible AND because they were paper designs. The standard for ground andnair is must have a prototype built. The 105 and panther 2 literally could not fit the guns inside those turrets, let alone the crew, ammo, radio etc. Be able to reload and if fired the breach would blow out the rear of the turret.

amazing, another person that didn’t actually bother to read what was said. scroll up to the top, read the spot that says EDIT. this is no longer about the boats. as for the Tiger 105, yes the way it was modeled in game is fictional, agreed, but if you actually read what I said, it was that it was a tiger hull, the turret was only ever a design on paper that got canned. as for the panther, I literally said it should have been removed. Next time read first respond second.

I believe that that’s the only document yeah, at least that I’m aware of. the idea was just to upgun the tiger, and one designer (Krupp IIRC) suggested the 105. they made that drawing and it was a sort of “we’ll figure out how to fit it later” but never got that far. not sure where gijian got the idea for the ranger finder though?

I think naval gets a pass
those giant hunks of metal are a lot harder to pump out a prototype of, makes sense they can follow different rules.

Have they ever removed naval vehicles like they have ground vehicles? Does anyone know?

I have not played long enough to know, but was the panther II a tech tree tank? What year did it come out in game?

Nah, no boats have been removed but that’s because they follow different rules as I’ve been told. As for the Panther II, it was a tech tree vehicle, it was add in the closed ground beta iirc

False equivalency.

Modern jets and tanks are part of natural progression.
