About the VSC and its interest in War Thunder :
In an effort to bring as many small French-made ships into the future French navy, this small patrol boat class would make a nice low tier gun boat, or a premium ship. Although I didn’t find much info on it, I believe there’s enough to make a suggestion about it.
History :
The VSC, or Vedette de surveillance côtière (Coastal patrol boats) were built between 1957 and 1958 in many harbors and by many shipyards, to replace its heterogenous predecessors, in an effort to standardise the French coastal fleet. 12 of those ships were built, and most of them were numbered P751 to P760, the remaining ones going to the Border patrol and taking the name DF. They were used mostly during the algerian war and after to patrol the remaining French harbors of the former French colonies. They were mostly scrapped between 1971 and 1978. Their design became popular as a Heller model during the 1960’s.
