USSR tech-tree, where are the other post USSR nations?

From my pov adding minor and (no offense) absolute irrelevant nations play no role if they don’t justify the implementation cost by offering a large amount of people willing to play the game - and even more important willing to spend money.

As long as wt is trapped in their habit to add nations solely on their potential if they have high end / top tier hardware which can be sold for insane prices it seems futile to discuss additions of new TTs by bundling minor nations.

This discussion about ex WP / now Nata countries play no role as long as gaijin is unable or unwilling to create Nato vs WP (and now the RF) lobbies and would reflect that nations would be allocated to one of those sides at certain periods (like up to 1991 and after joining Nato) - which is currently impossible as introduction / service time plays no role in the BR setting process and the MM is creating pure fantasy lobbies.

Imho “real” regional powers like Turkey, Indonesia or India have way higher chances to get own trees as they have a large player potential - in total opposition to the nations discussed here.

Kinda reminds me of the pan europe tree in world of warships.
https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Ships_of_Europe

That’s not important. No ex-Soviet nation wants to be in the same space as the USSR/Russia. And most of all, gaijin don’t like it when people talk about them negatively on the internet. Especially when it comes to politics.

nooooooooo ussr cant have vehicles from soviet nations only we can have them!!!11!!!1!!!

Yes, what’s wrong?

Literally 1 message after he states his disapproval of the soviet tech in the western trees

Also quite good chunk of modern equipment of former soviet/Warsaw pact nations modern equipment have little to nothing to do with the USSR or if it was a upgraded soviet vehicle, done mostly by the operating country and it’s domestic and/or western components.

E.G Czech F-35 has no soviet components and is replacing gripens, the only link is prior (forced) cooperation between Czechoslovakia and USSR on other vehicles (neither of the two nations exist anymore). Lithuanian Leopard 2s are the first tanks for the country post independence. The VAB mk.3 SICH is a French vehicle upgraded by a Ukrainian combat module. The Latvian Scimitar is equipped with a SPIKE Atgm and again, no soviet components.

Finally, two wrongs don’t make a right.

When has this game ever been political? Nothing like this will ever be a issue.

Yes, it’s funny to think that way.

I don’t understand, what’s funny about it? It’s a historical precedent not a political one.

The game is highly political - have in mind that millions of players are playing it, so just by the “right” BR placement or modelling of the performance of certain weapon systems of certain nations or allocating them to specific trees the game is able to influence the subconscious perception of a certain nation.

Then why do you say that it will happen in time? Why not now, or a couple of years ago?

It’s not.

2.11. No politics

Gaijin does not endorse or support any political parties, groups, movements, organizations or committees, any companies, partnerships, corporations, or associations organized or maintained for political purposes, or candidates for political office, including in connection with any election, referendum, the proposed bill, or for any other political purpose whatsoever.

3.1. It is forbidden to publish any texts, documents, images, recordings, videos, files, and other content which are in any way associated with:

  • 3.1.6 political and religious agitation and propaganda, including propagation of conflicts; discussion of actual political and religious issues is also prohibited due to the provocative nature: we urge you not to draw comparisons between war-historical themes and any of the political events;

Nothing what you cited has anything to do with what i wrote…

This is something that is forbidden for you xd
It does not deny the fact that they take politics into account in their decisions.

War Thunder is only a political game when youself bring politics to the game, this is highly off topic to be honest, but regardless. If you think that Gaijin make changes to the game purely to manipulate the mind and change opinions the problem is actually you.

@Kingtiez-live cited rules to prove you that the game isn’t made around politics, why would you make you own rules and break them at the same time. Using the Ariete main battle tank as example, a lot of people say it’s a bad vehicle but this doesn’t mean Italy as a whole is bad to play or have generally bad vehicles if we use your argument that:

Agree

Imho you should invest some time in reading about neural marketing.

The whole gaming industry works with highly sophisticated methods to influence your decision making process - with the goal to earn money.

So if a fellow player states that:

…he should think about subconscious messages and not about open bias towards or against certain nations - these are complete different topics.

From a holistic pov wt is a platform for social interactions for a millions of players. Excluding any possibilities that gaijin would not considering politics in the decision making process when they implement trees or sub-trees looks rather naive.

Just look at the interactions of PRC and ROC players - in every 5th game they team kill each other…
