in its early refit it would be a 8.0 its the exact same situation as prinzeugen same goal post a war reparations ship that wasnt used in service used as a test target
should Britain receive Baeden because they got it after the war or should america receieve the I400 class to fill gaps cause when they add subs cause they captured one and tested it ? see how silly this idea is
Two small problems. It couldn’t be 8.0 because she was not in early config when she was captured by US Navy.
Unlike Prinez Eugen serving in US Navy service, Nagato was not formally commissioned by US Navy. She did not have a significant timeframe in US service and couldn’t be moved under her own power as result of severe damages caused by war. Correct me if I’m incorrect, there was only a time she was under US command by US crew was when she was towed to Bikini Atoll.
You should ask that question for British mains if they feel that’s necessary not me. Again, moving goalpost, aren’t we? Submarines are not in the game either, and I do not care about battleship filler options.
only add a stripped version without guns or munitions, then maybe.
Or just add Prinz Eugen the way it was captured and was for over a year, nowhere does it say it has to be unique to be added.
thats a terrible idea. we already got copy sloppy like the kungstiger leopards and what not in air, ground and helicopters we REALLY dont need to do that in naval too.
EDIT: unless they somehow make it a bit unique of course… somehow
Edit2: who said anything about a playable vehicle. jsut have it as an AI being able to be targeted and destroyed as a map prop for the extra points.

if your gonna do it for one it should be upheld accordingly which means everyone gets vehicles like this and then theres no point of having a tech tree system cause at one point or another everyones captured something still still havent proven why you need the eugen specfically
already ingame that way they wont add same ship twice unless a its a different refit
EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS EUGEN she was in her late war refit when captured you know the one we have ingame ? in the german tree which means it cant be added unless you do the stripped down version with 6 guns
When a vehicle is in service in the US. It’s treated as if it is “Operational”. Operational in other countries is always different as well.
As long as whatever weapons were stripped away, removed, etc. I do not mind seeing it. Cause then it is not copy and paste. If anything though event vehicle not a premium.
A +1 from me. You know, I think Prinz might actually be a half-decent event vehicle in her stripped-down configuration. She’d be different enough gameplay-wise from the standard Hippers, having only 3 x 2 8" guns and a lot less AA. So I think she could be quite a neat ship to have. Plus, if she’s an event ship, we could get the radar trailer as a decoration. It’s actually a funny story about why they mounted it; it all has to do with the US finding the German radar set utterly useless and outdated. So the solution was to use the latest US Army Radar system instead, ad hoc.
