How fun is it to spawn a WW2 legend, just to face a never existing UFO which can’t be harmed and constantly oneshots you in return.

hopefully montana doesnt see light of day america is currently strongest naval tech tree in game with the most stacked toptier line up
they have 3 8.7s basically and no one can really suffeciently comepete with that the IOWA SOUTH DAKOTA and NORTH CAROLINA and you can use backups
germany has bismarck no second ship and prone to sudden cutscenes
japan has to very easy one tap toptiers but there 8.0s are decent
italy 70 second reload
france basicially a bismarck but they get 2
russia one op ship but only one maybe 2 with a back up
britain basically a vanguard and nothing else really.
a soyuz cannot beat 3 iowas back to back
We already have enough WWII-era fast BBs in the game, and it’s time for us to receive more Cold War and 2000s warships.

Problem there is that ASMs do jack against almost any armored ship in game bar the likes of the termit which is a massive HEAT warhead.
To nobody’s surprise, large caliber SAP warheads in missiles don’t work against armored ships, so while modern ships would be cool, bar Russia and their HEAT based ASMs, nobody else would be able to do anything to a armored ship because NATO never really built ASMs that had HEAT warheads due to everyone divesting armor rapidly post WW2.
Same deal, unless they add in AI aircraft doing attacks, SAMs will have little use beyond the one random dude doing a attack run
So at the end of the day, unless gaijin can bend reality, the remaining battleships and such are really the only things that could be added and be competitive.

The worst configuration we can get for Iowa class. Hope none of three ships come with that version.
It’s cool though, a mix of cold war weapons and WW2. Still a great ship, I would still want it in the game.
Its one of the few USN ships equipped with anti-ship BGM-109s so it would actually be one of the strongest USN anti-ship ships available as future USN warships deprecated the ASM 109s until the most recent tomahawk upgrade packages.
