Forgot about this one. Germany’s only cruiser post WW2. Nowadays they just use Corvettes and Frigates (well, imho those are Destroyers but Ger doesn’t like the wording).
ok nice so since we are adding more missle ships, that means that the german boats with the missles will have them actually functional now… right? the ships ALREADY INGAME WITH THE MODEL OF THE MISSLED THAT ARE UNSUABLE???

This is the 6th ship with functional missiles. I wouldn’t hold my breath for the AShM’s on the albatros to be functional any time soon.
There’s also a big difference between multipurpose missiles at 5.3 and anti ship missiles at 3.7. (though I suspect that if the albatros ever got its missiles it would get moved up quite a bit.)
to be honest i think they should revamp the BR system for naval again becasue of additions like that. the power creep and such coudl destroy it even more than it already is
The biggest issue I see is that most AShMs are fire and forget with ranges larger than the maps. Of course Gaijjn could fudge them all as being SACLOS or SARH.
Do people really want an Albatros shooting 4x Exocet and hiding behind an island? Harpoon would be even worse as they can take indirect routes to target and so there is no need to expose yourself at all as long as you have a data link contact from a friendly for the initial targeting.

Welp Gaijin need a map with only the Sea like the pacific Ocean. Anti-ship missiles can go from 100km-1000km so we are gonna need a much bigger maps. Aircraft can be launched from aircraft carrier. But this is mostly top tier naval.

That is why I always say at least give us the option to chose 😉 We also used to be able to enable Realistic Aiming in arcade, but they disabled that too for no good reason when they ruined naval arcade aiming. Also, the majority of players do NOT like the new Naval Arcade aiming: [Poll] with multiple options for the changes to Naval Battles
And again, the worst part is the complete lack of communication from anyone. Not one Dev, GM, Mod or anyone has responded one single time to the hordes of complaints. Extremely disrespectful.

Although its standard max was closer to 65.

What the biggest we have now? 40x40ish? Ok maybe slightly stretch is need, although sux if you only have guns as you have a long sail ahead to pew pew.

Ye but don’t worry about it… those 1000km+ naval missle are mostly very advance missle we gotta start from cold war antiship missles… so maps can be like 50km x 50km
And Also modern ships can carry Helicopter.

That’s not the biggest issue for me. The issue is complete lack of feedback about direction and speed that the old aiming system gave the player. Also, without that feedback, it is almost impossible to lead/correct for a turning ship now. You still get this feedback in “Realistic” mode, but there is nothing in arcade now. (And no, the readout at top left is not a substitute, is very difficult to apply the info up there to the ship you are looking at in your view)
It is worse than IRL AND worse than it was before. It has become more brain dead gameplay wise, and removed information from the players. Worse+worse.
Just give me back the ability to use the old aiming. If people want to nerf themselves and use the new aiming and not be able to hit turning targets, good for them. Let me CHOOSE.

According to an AI response to a search, the warhead has about 30kg of explosives, which is in the ball park of a BB SAP shell… but you don’t get to kill DD’s with 2 hits from any BB guns!!
It might still be justifiable, idk, the crews of WWII may abandon ships when they saw a guided missile attack from 10km away landing a direct hit? 🤣
Nah, they probably will try to shoot it down; the amount of anti-air guns on those WW2 ships are crazy.
