All I see are scharnhorsts that I cannot penentrate and gnenaisenau’s that I also cannot penetrate. And on top of that, they one shot my ammo with every salvo.
Aim for just below their forward guns, what you want to do is hit their ammo lifts by penning the deck armour rather than the side armour. Once you set their ammo lifts on fire, they are so short its almost impossible for them to extinguish before their ammo racks explode and they die.

works for all 3 guns. but you have a larger area aiming for the 2 forward guns rather than the singular rear gun. Scharnhorsts use to be a total menace, now I farm kills against them, Gnesaisenau, Sevastapol and Bismark all have the same weakspot

Thank you, I will try it. But I always shoot the ammo in the front and never penetrate. Maybe I can aim a little higher. We’ll see
Yeah, unless you are in something like HMS Hood with 15" guns, you arent penning that armour and even then, I still aim for the weakspot above instead of trying for a direct ammo rack pen.
That fire mechanic really really hard countered the Scharnhorst.
35.6s can get through the Scharnhorst. Just depends on range.
Shells down the elevators will instantly kill the twins.
