USA TT should receive a T-84 as well

With Spearhead, China will get a Pakistani T-84 Oplot. Pakistan only trialed this tank and never owned it in the long term. In 2003 the US Army purchased four T-84 Oplot for testing and research and still owns them to this day. There was even a recent spotting of one being transported on a highway. If China can receive one that Pakistan never owned, it would be fair for USA to get one they do own.

Can I now order Leopards, Strvs, CV90s, Bradleys, and Abrams for the Soviet tree?

i mean no? pakistan was considering buying it (which has always been allowed for addition of new vehicles to game (swedish t80, swedish mi28, swedish AHS) whereas america got one just to look at it for adversarial purposes not to consider buying it

At least they purchased some and owned it for 22 years now

yes for adversarial evaluation, not to think about buying more of

And? It doesn’t matter lol they still own it, ur point is irrelevant

what do you mean and? it does matter, because it means theres a difference between pakistan evaluating the t84 and america evaluating it, one permits a vehicle being added to the game, one doesnt

Ownership definitely permits it being added

not quite there are always caveats

  1. the american one was not a unique modification made for america
  2. its still different, america doesnt own it with the intention of ever using it, if they couldve leased it they probably wouldve, but i doubt ‘we plan to take it completely apart to learn about’ would go well on a leasing contract

also

one* they purchased one

Not agreeing that the US should get the T-84. But remember that Sweden has a King Tiger.

oh yeah, but hopefully gaijin is smart enough to not add more vehicles under similar conditions, cause captured vehicles (which post ww2 dont generally see use on the frontlines, unless youre israel) are poor grounds for addition to a tech tree imo

I agree, I was just pointing out that they have unfortunately done it before.

Would be nice if they just closed that can of worms. With Swedish trialed vehicles there at least was some reasoning like a lack of helicopters, but Oplot-P is added just because “why not”. What next, Centauro and Freccia for USSR? Phantom for Italy? F-14 for Germany?

I mean if the trialed vehicles are unique variants I think its fine, like the centauro with the russia gun, and like this t84 apparently should be according to the photo of one of the t84s that was trialled

Spoiler

but yeah if its not a unique variant theres no need for evaluation vehicles

Haven’t seen one, only as an idea.

How about we change to Chinese shouldn’t get that oplot at the begin with?
It should be remove along with mirage 2000 f-16mlu

not an idea as far as I can tell, while I cant find any photos of it, I can find multiple articles saying it did happen, and considering how many photos of the other centauros russia tested exist its possible a photo of it does exist

why?

those are both vehicles that are in use by the special little friend near china why would they get removed?

Because Pakistan and China didn’t use it

China shouldn’t get foreign vehicles if nobody can’t get theirs remove it all.

pakistan trialled it which is enough for gaijin

china and ukraine aren’t on bad terms that i know of

but yes I agree M1a2T and thai VT4 should both be added this update too (specifically at the same time)
