USA top tier needs a change

Jas-39A,F-15A,Mig-29G’s are even better.

You can club both F4S and Fakour-90 spammers, personally i prefer Jas-39 more due to amazing flight performance and insane amount of cm’s.

Typhoon will eventually come, right, right?

True but they’re 13.0. If I wanted to club premium spam with 13.0 I’d bring out the Flanker. The best 13.0 rn.

Nah Gripen eats Flanker for breakfast.

Dont get me wrong i love my Flanker and its amazing for early and long range kills but its basically helpless against Gripen.

Gripen still holds the crown at 13.0.

In a 1v1 sure. In ARB that crown belongs to the Flanker. You don’t need to dogfight everything, the Flanker has the top speed and TWR to run away. Even in dogfights the Flanker isn’t completely helpless, its bad but the R-73 can help a lot.

If its furball then Gripen is still better which is what happens in usual Air Rb match.

Flanker is more suited for long range and sneaky engagements.

su27 never survives furballs. You don’t want to get involved in one, it’s better to 3rd party people that are

Again you don’t need to be turning with everyone else. Why would you participate in the furball when you can just send missiles and run away.

That is exactly what i was saying on my previous replies.

Flanker is better in ambush and long range engagements.

Long range is misleading though. You can pass by the furball getting close or chase people but not get involved in dogfights with other 13.0s.

Also its not like you can’t dogfight. The Su-27 has the R-73 which can close the gap so it has a sliver of hope (does not mean its an insta win). The only plane I would NEVER dogfight though is the Gripen because of its low heat signature.

Its awesome that most maps are flat

No.

Top Tier is for modern machinnery enthusiasts. Why should someone be denied the right to play with the vehicles they like unless they are willing to spend hundreds of hours grinding through vehicles they are simply not interested in?

Claiming that “Top Tier should only be for experienced players” is as wrong as claiming that “experienced players should never play Low Tier”.

In War Thunder, tiers don’t reflect skill levels or experience; tiers merely sort vehicles by historical period.

Some people like WW2, others like the 60s, others like the 90s, other like present day… and there’s nothing wrong about it.

How about just letting people enjoy their personal preferences? There are people with busy lives who just want to hop on the game and have some fun with the vehicles they enjoy, instead of having to spend hundreds of hours grinding through vehicles they don’t enjoy playing to “earn” their right to play the modern ones they are actually interested in.

Half the one-death leaving Click-Baits I see are Level 100s with 3-4 tech trees anyway, and half the times, the one-death leavers are experienced players with full lineups who simply refuse to respawn because they rage-quitted, are spading a tank, or refuse to play on a certain map. I am tired that we have to pretend like all one-death leavers are “Premium noobs”.

One of my best friends who got into War Thunder just a few months ago and still stuck on German Rank V, guess what? He purchased Centauro RGO this sale because he is mostly interested on the modern vehicles just like me, and because he found the Centauros cool- and he’s doing PHENOMENAL on it, despite being a quite high-ceiling vehicle many “experienced” players would never be able to do well in; and he saved nearly 200 universal backups to use them on it until he got more Centauros. But apparently he should have been gatekept from Top Tier for not being “an experienced player”…

Agree with the rest of your post though.

Teams did good.
My Abrams pulling my weight due to how good it is as usual, and despite being on maps I absolutely despise.

This is absolutely criminal imo and funnily enough, the roles are reversed in lower ranks where Germany is constantly by itself or just paired with Italy or Israel and has to fend off against one the best ground lineups in the game. At least the MM is somewhat historical I guess lol.

everything very simple, just need introduce in our game new shell M829A3 and A4

The game have a rank and BR system for a reason , saying “Let people play what they want no matter what the skill” is peak brainlet take. Imagine you working 9-5 , done with your shift and hop on to get some fun in your newly bought Click-Bait/E1/2A4M just to get sniped by the sweat lord on the other map cause you picked the worst path possible to get to the place you want, then back hangar , get into another game , die , repeat. Despite top tier ground and low tier ground arent that different from each other , the same can’t be said for air , cause air have way way higher skill ceiling and that alone make people who “I want to play top tier because I want to do top tier and that ok” not ok. You bringing up your friend as if he represent the whole playerbase is just peak copium. The lack of skill in lower level player is to be expected , that why low tier exist for them to learn. Ignoring the game progression line just because your mate hard stuck rank V and did good in a rank 7 vehicle doesnt say much about the rest of the playerbase. Not to mention you ruining other player experience as well , that just you being selfish within your own biased , not within the majority of the player who want to play the game without having half of the team rushing to their own death or trying to basebombing then die anyway leaving the rest of the team to carry the consequences of your own action.

Balance and a way to progress through the game.

It does have a higher skill ceiling, but an expert at propeller planes will not do well in an F-15, just like someone who almost exclusively plays the F-15 wouldn’t be that good playing a P-47.

You can only learn so much from lower BRs.

Top tier shouldn’t just be for experienced players, and low tier shouldn’t just be for new players.

I think it would be nice if there was a reserve style BR, but around 7.0-8.0. That way people who don’t want to play WWII suff can skip it, and it would just allow for better all around progression.

Using “Low tier isnt just for new player , top tier isn’t just for experienced” here won’t work simply because you completely miss my point. What can you learn from top tier that you can’t learn from low tier ? Top tier is just low tier but with more additions to it. You still have to progress through low tier and learn about the game the basic and develop your game sense. Not using a massive cope as one of the many reasons to justify new player buying their way into top tier and suffer not only himself but people around him. Little Timmy gonna suffer and the enemy sure as hell gonna make sure he feel every moment of it. Also your suggestion suck , why would you give player reserve style BR, but around 7.0-8.0. Literally the most compressed BR with heavy and heat slinger. All you want is to justify the buying of top tier vehicle for new players. That cope simply wouldn’t work

If newer and inexperienced players must be locked from modern vehicles… then experienced players must be locked from anything that isn’t modern vehicles, right?

If tiers aren’t meant to sort vehicles by period of time but rather meant to represent the progression of a player… you don’t want inexperienced players “being noobs at Top Tier”, but you wouldn’t want experienced players “seal clubbing at Low Tier”, right?

Because experienced players shouldn’t have the right to enjoy WW2 machines, the same way apparently newer players shouldn’t have the right to enjoy modern machines.

Time to tell the Iraq veteran father of 2 who just worked his ass off all day that he can’t just buy the cool Premium M1A1HC depicting the vehicle he served in because “he’s an inexperienced noob” and that “he has to learn the game spending hundreds of hours across months playing completely different vehicles he isn’t even interested in”, I guess.

You couldn’t be more mistaken.

Low Tier and Top Tier are practically different video games- that’s why the whole “you must learn to play an Abrams by playing an M3A1 first” narrative doesn’t make any sense.

In Top Tier, you get the best mobility ingame while being completely and fully stabilized, you have a laser rangefinder that automatically sets your gun’s aiming with the click of a button, you have thermals that reveal anyone’s position, you have gun traverse speeds that allow you to instantly lock target on anyone even on the move, you have shells capable of penetrating nearly everything at any angle…

If anything, modern machines are WAY easier to play and learn that lower tier ones.

This is like telling someone that, in order to be able to drive a 2024 automatic car, they must first master driving a 1912 harvesting tractor.
