as i keep saying, it doesn’t need to be dropped with all of its capabilities. a basic AIM-9X implementation just turns it into a slightly better R-73 with suspension iRCCM

you’re claiming the AIM-9X will be insanely overpowered if it were to come to the game even though it doesn’t have to be, and i’m telling you it won’t be such a cracked up improvement over everything we have if they do a basic low-power implementation, but you’re going off-script and just saying random shit like “you just hate the missile” and “you’re a raging russian main”
not necessarily corelated, 9X launched out of an F-35 can LOBL by poking the missile out of the bay and this was likely the way it was done before actual LOAL was implemented where it just yeets the missile out of the bay rapidly
Specifically the block 2 was made for f-35 to utilize its LOAL system but I don’t know if the ex has gotten it or any of the raptor modifications

not like LOAL will help anyways, we’re not getting F-22s or F-35s for a long while yet and we have no aircraft with occluded stations in the game that necessitate the addition of LOAL capable AIM-9X.
non-occluded station mounted AIM-9X will have direct access to the heat signature of enemy aircraft and we’re definitely not going to be allowed to do OTS LOAL launching, and out-of-range LOAL shooting won’t be reliable either seeing as the 9X barely improves range over the 9M which already struggles to hit shots from max lock range
