USA Tech tree tips GRB,GSB,NRB,ARB

I have decided to countinue my grind in USA tech tree. And I am already loosing my mind grinding the same sherman over and over again they may have good armor but they always have the same trash gun. The only way I kill enemy tanks is always secretly flank them from the side or behind, I was wondering, is there any other easy way? And What the best US WW2 tanks

I am aiming for the Abrams mainly and I mostly wonder what to research.

Currently my strategy is just knocking out the enemy cannon then track, then kill them from the side.

Im currently saving SL after last lootboxes to move from US 8.7 to 9.0/9.3.

US 5.7 is probably my most favorite, followed by 8.7.

6.7 and 7.7 aint half bad either.

Of course it depends on how many crewslots you have, but theres a lot of vehicles that suit lot of playstyles.

Highlights would prolly include T34 for its absolute monster of a gun, T26E5 for its armor, XM800T being absolute gremlin, and M46/47/48 for suprisingly good transmission.

And of course, Easy Eights being the best damn tanks in the game.

How about for naval? You got any good choice of ships?

Dont do naval, sorry.

How about a helicopter? I have never played helicopter btw so I am gonna need alot of help.

highly depends on what BR you want to play.

I have yet to properly grind US helis, but im eying the Kiowa for my KVT lineup, once I have time.

As for others, they seem pretty much standard, but theres the AH-64E with JAGMs to look forward to.

I see and do you think the M44 will be a good then the M55 which come next major update. I am currently researching the M44 hoping to end the pain of not pentrating tanks.

eh, im personally not a fan of SPHs. It will be unwieldy, with only 5° of gun depression (at least i think its 5°) and no armor. But that 203mm gun is nothing to scoff at.

Jumbo is easily best US tank at rank 3, I got so much grinding done with it. I recently unlocked rank 5 US, I didn’t bother with medium tanks. The m18 is good, but the t26e5 will also help you a lot with the grind, it’s a really solid tank. If u play for fun, get the m44. It’s the most funny tank, you can obliterate anything

Ah. US tank destroyers kinda mid. M44 decent gun, you have to hit the roof of tanks. Learn weak spots and use the jumbo and you will dominate

Early US line up can be tough… Don’t underestimate the M24. Played well you can do a lot against higher BR vehicles. Shermans are slow but as you move up they get better guns. Things get more fun when you get the M18. You will have some classic battles against Tigers and IS 1s and IS 2s Like the M24 you’ll use your mobility to get kills against stronger but slower tanks. I don’t play the Jumbos (Dumbos) as all they do is give you the impression you can stand up and take hits which is doing nothing to improve your play. When you get to 6.7 /7.0 the US line up in great. There too many great vehicles to choose from. Don’t be in a race to move up. Master each vehicle. I like to play at least until I’ve earned winter camo before I move on. (You also might want to complete research and not buy until a sale comes.) This will give you the option of only grinding when you have a booster running. (Play Battle Pass for free to get more boosters) Cheers.

The jumbo’s are incredibly good and they teach you important weak points as the 75 gun is a bit underpowered

Please explain how they “teach you important weak points”

Since the gun can’t pen most things from front on, you have to learn the best spots to shoot a tank. For example, you have to learn to shoot the cupola of the tiger cuz that’s the only way to kill it from front on

Both Jumbos come with armor piercing rounds that allow you to pen Tiger I’s in the same way other less armored vehicles do. In a full uptier, facing 6.7 up to 7.3 you’re going to suffer like everyone else so why not play a vehicle that gives you more of a chance with mobility and better gun instead of trying for cupola shots?

No, the 75 jumbo can’t pen the front plate of a tiger like the 76 Sherman. I don’t mind the Sherman, I just think the jumbo is better for new players to learn the game
