Yesterday, I played the USA planes using my VR set, and when I was in the cockpit of the PBJ-1J, I was very dissapointed with what I saw. When are cockpits going to be updated and not look like they were built by amatuers. This is not the only cockpit that needs to be re-done, but this is the Worst cockpit i’ve seen so far.
The cockpit is not even half finished. It looks like it was started by someone who got bored and decided to do something else instead. There’s some dials, but no switches or anything like that. The flight stick doesn’t even move, it’s a solid rigid pole with handles on top.
There is not even any throttle levers or anything. Just empty slots where they Should be.
Whoever did the cockpit on this needs to be fired or sent on a course to use “Blender” or what ever 3D modelling program Gaijin use. This is not the sort of work you expect from professional game designers.
Please Gaijin, sort the cockpits, it starts to ruin the VR experience.

Gaijin officially states that cockpits for bombers (and some attackers) will not be created.

That’s not good, dissapointing. It would feel much better sitting in the cockpit with at least a sort of realistic look.

It’s ridiculous that even a premium bomber like the Ju 288, which costs as much as a full game, doesn’t even have a moderately modeled cockpit. At this point, it’s just stinginess on Gaijin’s part.

Not even something as basic as the external models are well-made or accurate on the Mitchell aircraft. Damn, to begin with, the PBJ-1H didn’t have a co-pilot or a second control yoke…

Also, the PBJ-1J/H’s AN/APS-3 radar would be useful for combined naval battles if it actually worked as it was originally intended to do in tracking ships…
It really sucks the developers have moved attention away from WW2 era and only primarily focus on modern-era vehicles with every new update (yet more helicopters just new detailed cockpits the last update being a huge slap to the face to bomber players).

Not only that but also the PBJ’s are still missing some weapon loadouts such as torps, HVAR’s and even Tiny Tims

It seems like it’s not just the aesthetic details that are not finished, but sounds like the whole plane is not finished and just a half hearted attempt.
