if india buys another fucking jet with completely different logistic footprint again the country is absolutely doomed
f16xl could work as a squadron vehicle, thats way in the future though as it would be top tier.
i see 2 aim9j and bombs
screw it put it at 11.3 and class it as a strike aircraft
those are likely 9ms. f16xl was the competitor to the f15e
It doesn’t have a gap there. They have the Typhoon, and there are more Typhoon variants left.
It’s an F-16 modification, an American vehicle, and if it doesn’t win whatever competition it’s in and doesn’t enter service, or if the USAF operates it for training purposes, it can and should go to the US.
The F-21 wasn’t even built and India goes to the UK
So i don’t even know what this argument is about
Oh ok then, it probably won’t be added at all if they never built one
Give it the 4 recessed AMRAAMs and 2 9ms on the wingtips and call it a day (it still somehow has a worse loadout than the f16c/f16 mlu
Because people want to play top tier. The grind for it is much less than grinding the tech tree. People want to have fun. "Muh uh win rates will drop " so? Top tier is mixed planes and we would be easier kills . You guys just don’t want to see someone skipping the tree and having fun . Do better
The problem is that props and top tier ARH combat are 2 radically different environments. Skipping from one to the other and you end up with aircraft at too low of a BR because “player stats” and mass TKs.
There needs to be a limit on how high people can just skip too. Its bad enough around 12.0 in gamemodes like ASB with premium players TKing everyone. Let alone when you give them fiddly weapons like AMRAAM
These people should be banned , almost all sq planes are balanced enough to not have these problems.
not happening sadly, F-21 is already kindof rejected, Lockheed teamed up with TATA for local production of F-21 under MRFA, but nothing happened and now TATA has removed F-21 page from its site
gonna have an utterly abysmal fm but it would be cool to see, they’re gonna have to yak 141 it. also who decided to make it humongous but still only get 6 air to air hardpoints
But it’s not an American vehicle, it’s Indian (God knows where gaijin’s gonna put it, consistency is not their strong point) to my knowledge. But you’re right, it it’s operated by the USAF for training, they could maybe get a variant. But realistically, if it’s Indian and they operate it in any capacity, it should fit neatly into the UK’s air tree.
Gap was probably the wrong word, granted, but I maintain the point that there’s not a lot of diversity in the UK and as one of the few nations without F-16s, it can’t hurt to get one.
Edit: People were saying it wasn’t even built so realistically it doesn’t matter - USA has enough F-16s and UK is more than competitive in top tier air RB.
Valid point, I didn’t know it wasn’t built. I was just maintaining the fact that if it’s Indian, it should and hopefully does go to the UK. (thanks for the info, never meant to make it an argument)
