USA A-10C bias needs to be 12.0 to be “fair”

9Ms are massively better than 9Ls in sim.

They really arent. They are better in head-ons where you should be pre-flaring anyway. But in my experience most of my kills are from angles where the enemy can’t see the missiles coming, or even if they could, would not have time to do anything about it.

They really are. Smokeless means borderline undetectable and IRCCM makes it extremely difficult to shake once fired as well.

Most IR missiles are borderline undetectable unless you are in a head-on. The IRCCM is the same on both missiles.

I don’t agree. 9Ls can get fired in dogfights/merges etc and be detected and flared immediately. I cannot do the same to a 9M. I can have the enemy jet in my field of view and still miss the 9M.

You mean when you are turnfighting an A-10?

what?

I do not understand what situation you are referring to

When a 9M is fired at me?

Lol, okay. Can you tell the difference between a 9M and 9L from behind? When will an A-10 fire a 9M at you from the side and manage to hit you unless you were turnfighting with it?

Yeah, I’ll see the 9L launch if I’m paying attention but will never see the 9M. More than one jet carries the 9M bud.

Its Br is fine. Same complaint for 9.7 jets without flares seeing the A10 with aim9L. However, its just players that are not aware of their surroundings that are getting dunked on. If you know where the A10 is, you know where not to be.

Tell me why you play a fighter in war thunder.

I’ll answer it for you, it’s to shoot down other planes, having a 3km bubble of death around a plane you can’t shoot down with missiles defeats the whole purpose of playing a fighter.

What are you talking about? You can clearly and easily see the smoke coming out of other IR missiles when they are launched. And 9L does not have the same IRCCM as 9M which also makes 9L much easier to avoid than 9M (in addition the 9M being pretty much invisible).

Nah, the BR is beyond silly low. And yes, the aim 9L(and r-60m) against flareless planes was also stupid.

You can do everything in your power to try to offset the power imbalance that comes with facing all aspect 30g missiles with a flareless subsonic. You can even find success doing so in outplaying bad players. However, this does not mean anything at the end of the day if an enemy simply isn’t bad and doesn’t allow you to do these things like flanking him to attack from the rear. If an enemy A-10 is simply aware of you, and doesn’t allow you to outplay him, he can’t really be attacked or killed by a competent flareless jet player… this is a problem.

No the br is not silly low, not with that slow air frame.

I have 400+ matches in my Mig21S, that is a 9.7 jet without flares, and have absolutely no trouble dealing with A10’s. Yes Ive been shot down by them, but it was my fault for not seeing them. Ive shot down more A10’s in that jet than Ive lost to them.

Also since the update I played over 100 matches in the J7E to get the J10. Only shot down by one A10C and that was my fault. Aside from that I dunked on all of them.

Raising the br for either A10 would be dumb.

Dont blame the game.

Like is said to the guy above, Ive had no issues dealing with A10’s even when they knew I was there. Being a good player in an A10 doesn’t mean you cant be beaten by a good player in a flareless jet.

I’m sorry, I don’t see this 3km death bubble that you do.

Wow, impressive number of matches! But I’m going to make a wild guess: you have flown 0 games with A-10C in Sim and have seen 0 A-10Cs in enemy team while flying in air Sim? You know the game mode this discussion is about and the forum section this thread located in?

Nah, keeping the A-10C in 11.3 would be just pure stupid.
