That was a really bad angle to launch at. Also idk what that missile was doing because it has never screwed up that badly for me.

Same response from me. Lead the shot instead of firing direct at the target and no idea why it self-destructed. Would have hit by the looks of things if not for that.
It shouldn’t matter, it didn’t over G, it has 40G over load, it pulled maybe 18-20?
id actually report that one to gaijin ngl.

You can check how many Gs it pulled in the replay, but to me it looked like a bug. It looked like it exploded before he even flared.
On what though?
Leading is about more than Gs.

Oh I know that one. I meant like one where gaijin actually cares. Because I bug reported the no spalling on the lower front plate of the abrams to gaijin and they pretty much told me to piss off.
Yes… But leading even a little is better than firing straight at the target. You’ll just have to get a feel for how much you can lead the missile before it looses a lock. But it might increase your success rate with IR missiles. In that clip. If the missile hadnt randomly exploded. It would have hit, regardless of the MAWS and Flares it was dropping. Leading the shot would have guranteed it.

Snail is gonna do what the snail wants to do. All you can do is report it.
As in, if you know its coming its easy to flare but obviously in sim thats hard to do.
