Yeah… after the GR4 being added with the Su-34, GR1/F3 with/after F-16/Mig-29, etc I shouldnt have been surprised the Ajax got added with a monster like the BMPT.
We are like 6-12 months behind other nations i swear.
In ground, I would say we are usually more like 3 years behind on average. Air, we did eventually catch up, but for a while, we were just as far behind.

But it is a thing. Being a test bed for something has not stopped Gaijin from implmenting it. The Yak-141 never had weapons, a radar, an RWR, or flares/chaffe. It was tested under the notion it would eventually get them so it was added with such. The Challenger 3 TD is a testbed vehicle. So, even if the M1’s with DU armor only existed as test vehicles, by Gaijins own history they can be added. Not to mention the M1A2s do indeed have DU armor.

Sure, I have nothing against the rare M1A1HA with DU hull being implemented in War Thunder. There is of course the unknown of to what degree it improved the performance of the armour.
But that’s not the same thing as people wanting the M1A2 SEP or SEP v2 receiving DU hulls simply because a completely separate variant utilized it.

The fact is that DU armor was incorporated into the Abrams tank’s armor and used in the war. This means DU isn’t an isolated case or an experimental one. It can be used on the M1A1HC and other tanks.

Yes when i started playing us all my friends said the us tech tree was bad and that every vehicle was lacking, at the time i thought they where right but now when i’ve unlocked more top tier vehicles im slowly starting to see how wrong they where. American top tier vehicles are goated, it’s just the bad teams all the time.

It got M829A1 back when it had the 6 second reload and the M1IP got M900 with the 5 second reload.
