You have great mobility, firepower, a minimap and audio.
So yeah if you get shot in the side at close range by a BMPT in an M1A2 you made a whole bunch of mistakes.
Well youd be wrong there, cause most teammate’s leave immediately causing spawn camping, and if youre alone against a whole swarm of player sitting behind cover in your spawn, you can’t really do anything.
In the game, the turret ring of M1 is far less sturdy than in reality. It should at least have an equivalent thickness of at least 300mm. The M829A3 A4 is an almost impossible wish because they were specifically designed to counter the explosive reactive armor of Russia. Until the T14 (New Russia bias) was added to the game, Abrams could not penetrate any of the current Russian tanks.
Why?
T-80BVM gets clapped just like anything else if you run into the open ‘‘holding W’’.
As for flanking, it’s acceleration is pretty much equal to a standard M1A2, why could the T-80BVM rush a flank any better than a Abrams?
War Thunder meta = Mobility + First hit cripple/kill.
Getting to powerpositions before you opponents do is pretty important,.
Now I can’t test just how much of a difference the extra ton make, but I suspect it’s not that much.

We were talking about tusk ii on or off, tusk off is 1 second faster which in my opinion is not a difference, i have played SRE and still think it’s a very minor difference. 1 second faster isn’t gonna make u win the game.
And sep v2 + tusk ii is still faster than the majority of tanks.
The return of the tank means many things. For example, the SEPV4 has a spall liner, DU armor reinforcement, and a third-generation LWS thermal imager.
And then it can be added alongside the Leopard 2A8, Challenger 3, etc etc
I thought we should first add something to the USA, see how it balances out, and then add tanks to other nations.
Why?
US has a stronger MBT than most nations.
Why should the US get something even stronger, whislt other nations are left behind?
If anything, it should be one of the last to get new MBTs. Though I would suspect a Leviathan style of everyone getting something new in the same update

It probably won’t differ much from the SEPV2 in-game. It’ll have APS and slightly better armor, but that’s about it.

Just because the US did worst statistically, doesnt mean the Abrams is actually bad.
What does that have to do with it? Whether he’s good or bad doesn’t matter. The nation itself is having trouble winning. As we know, victories award more research points and silver. So the game needs to be balanced.

No use man, if USA mains are the one that plays it then it still going to get its ass kicked by 2A7. Different story when Chinese players are playing it as they proven to be the more superior player group bro
No amount of artificial buff to Abrams will help US mains unless they start playing other nations like RU and China to see the bigger picture bro.

At the same time, the United States ranks last in victories. This means there’s a weak spot somewhere, and the Abrams statistically ranks far from first or even third.
Well, if you upped it’s armor arrays to a level sufficient to deal with 3BM60, and fixed the Turret ring issue(s) I think it’d do ok.

By the way, there were times when the USA played most of the battles together with the USSR and the victory statistics increased.
