So am I missing something, or did another f18 get added with bol, and not the US version again? Hasnt this been documented??
Us fa18s didn’t get bol if I remember right
they have been tested for it so by game conventions should have it
same with US f15s which even have more recent conformation of compatibility with f15e
Thats why im confused, tested and compatible, should be in game
Then mica to gripen C tested and be added
What of it? This an f18 discussion?
i was just ironic, you want something on a f18 which only tested but never entered service
The finnish one is different spagetti, they use f18 with Bol in service, there are pictures of it carrying the POD
Im try hard to find any document, or picture of Us f18 carrying a BOL but there are none
The suggestion for the F-18s had almost a dozen sources on it, I made a report which was marked as duplicate, while the original one was accepted and is still in limbo, however the one that got accepted was just a general “F-18, including US and Finnish ones could mount BOL” so this is basically a nerf as in we can’t report the US one specifically because this report exists, but since the Finnish one received it, the report is still open forever.
US f18 not carrying it even the f18E didnt use it in service
Which is kinda gaijins fault because not everything need to be realistic its a game
F/A-18 doesn’t have BOL
F-16 doesn’t have PIDS
F-15s don’t have BOL
Wrong
i see that they have been tested now. Then they should get them imo, gaijin probably just doesn’t want them becuase they’re not in service which is dumb
USMC has the c+ program for the C&D hornet that added AN/APG 79(v)4 AESA (navy retired legacy hornet in 2019 but USMC still uses them) with the AESA it would probably need a BR ceiling increase and the integration of electronic countermeasures would probably need to be added at that point also
The hornets used by the USA never had SAAB BOL fitted.
You don’t miss much, it’s so violently nerfed that it’s not worth much
Why? Everything else at its BR already has an ESA
Incorrect
AN/APG 63(V1) isn’t and neither is AN/APG 70 or 73 or 68v7 these are all mechanically scanned
