Why is it that the US aircraft in the game do not receive the munitions they’ve literally designed and produced, but other nations do? For example. Why does Britain and Italy receive GBU-54B’s, but the American F-16 and F-15E does not? Even though they carry them? It’s not a balance issue, everyone knows the Typhoon is definitely over balance on air-to-ground. But the F-15E is not. If only they would balance the game by giving the US its GBU-54B’s it deserves.

The typhoon is not over balanced in GRB, however i do agree that it’s kinda stupid to not give the U.S it’s weapons, if it used them of course. It’s not like it would be op either. The Sniper is still a TGP, you’re limited by mavericks. The GBU-54 is still a bomb. There are no EGBUs for the F-15E either

The topic is refencing the GBU-54(V)/B, which is the 500lb Laser-JDAM. which is analogous to the Paveway IV, as a SALH/GPS guidance kit equipt to a Mk.82 Warhead section.
Similarly there are alternatives with the DM-LGB (GPS + Paveway II), and E-GBU (GPS +Paveway III ) which have similar properties, but as such differ slightly in terms of capabilities caused by the differences in capability provided by the donor modular kit;
The differences as such, that should exist (such as Paveway III kits optionally lofting) are not really modeled, yet.
They each would have a specific use case but it’s hard to model unit costs (e.g. could be represented by altered SP costs) and other niche features as they wouldn’t for the most part have a significant impact on things.
