Currently, there is no Uruguayan Air Force roundel in the game. There are roundels for the Argentine and Brazilian Air Forces, but not for Uruguay, which is located between these two countries and has historically operated many of the vehicles featured in the game.
Among the aircraft currently available in the game that were operated by Uruguay we can find:
-
North American F-51D Mustang
-
Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat
-
Grumman TBF Avenger
-
North American B-25 Mitchell
-
Lockheed F-80C Shooting Star
-
Martin PBM-5A Mariner
-
Vought OS2U Kingfisher
-
Bell UH-1B Iroquois
-
Sikorsky H-34
-
Westland Wessex
-
FMA IA-58A Pucará
Including the emblem of this small but important nation in the game would finally fully represent and integrate the Southern Cone community into War Thunder, and as a Uruguayan, that would make me very happy. I’m sure to my fellow countrymen in game would too.

The roundel I included in this post was first used by the Uruguayan Army aircraft, and then, to this day, by the aircraft of the current Uruguayan Air Force and naval aviation without any differences. It’s the only version that has historically existed. It wasn’t until this year, 2026, that a low-visibility roundel was created in Uruguay, due to the introduction of the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano.
Although not currently included in game, but due to the possibility that these vehicles may be added later, Uruguay also operated:
-
Grumman S-2 Tracker Anti-Submarine Warfare Aircraft
-
Curtiss CW-22
-
North American T-28 Trojan
-
Cessna A-37B Dragonfly
-
Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer
