Reasoning:
It’s overpowered as hell!!!
This plane completely outperforms Japanese bombers of the same rank in every single aspect.
Even judging by Japan’s own plane evaluation criteria, the BR definitely needs to be increased.
Vehicle : Mirage 4000 Gamemode : Air Realistic BR Change : 13.0 —> 12.7 Reason :
The Mirage 4000 is currently placed at BR 13.0, but in practice it would be much more balanced at 12.7.
At 13.0, the aircraft is constantly matched against platforms equipped with active radar missiles (Fox 3), which fundamentally shifts the engagement dynamic. The Mirage 4000 lacks access to comparable Fox 3 weaponry, forcing it into a reactive and defensive playstyle from the very start of a match. It cannot contest BVR engagements on equal terms and is often pressured before it can even capitalize on its strengths.
While the Mirage 4000 has strong flight performance and solid radar-guided missiles, these advantages are significantly diminished in a meta dominated by fire-and-forget capabilities. Opponents can launch, disengage, and maintain pressure without committing, whereas the Mirage must maintain guidance and expose itself longer to threats.
This results in:
Reduced survivability in early engagements
Limited ability to control distance and tempo
A consistent disadvantage in high-tier matchmaking
Moving the Mirage 4000 to BR 12.7 would place it in a more appropriate environment where Fox 3 saturation is lower, allowing it to better utilize its performance and weapon systems without being systematically outclassed in BVR combat.
This change wouldn’t make the aircraft overpowered—it would simply make it competitive.
Vehicle : Etendard IVM Gamemode : Air Realistic BR Change : 9.0 —> 8.7 Reason :
Fighting supersonics just because it has Aim-9Bs (which other 8.7 planes already have) is not justified, the flight performance isn’t comparable to other 8.7 or even 8.3 planes being an attacker, i feel like 8.7 will fit this plane much better than fighting supersonics
It’s not spacing anything out. It’s compressing the game further by pushing yet another bracket upwards without thought or without raising the brackets above it
