will su22m3 gets deserved additional countermeasures? this plane become useless, more countermeasures at least can make it playable in both GRB and ARB.
IS-2 No.321
& IS-2 Revenge
I added these for you. Let’s not forget them :)
I beg to differ. I love my Tigris, it is P2W
I don’t care what 3rd party stat trackers say about how well a tank does, gaijin nominally does not, and you generally shouldn’t for this stuff either. Should the American M3 Lee (0.93 KD) be nerfed because of the Russian M3 Lee (2.91 KD)?
The Vickers Mk E is an easy tank to trash talk and that’s exactly why I chose it to compare to, though I honestly found it was still quite a comfortable tank to play. I could instead compare the M14/40 (I) to some of the stronger 1.0 tanks like the Pz III E, M2A4, BT-5, Strv m/39, or Strv m/31 if that would please you.
1.0 for the M14/40 (I) is likely too low, but balance at 1.0 and 1.3 is such a chaotic mess that it’d hardly be the worst offender if dropped to 1.0. Aside from some notable exceptions, rank 1 Italy is rough, so I don’t see too much harm in them being thrown a bone.
USA RB Ground:
- M4A3 105: 3.0 up to 3.3 (was only increased to 3.3 in Arcade)
This needs to go up in RB as well, it’s a low tier monster and a very popular seal club vehicle. You can often find entire squadrons playing in these. 2.0 vehicles really suffer against these, so much the M4A3 105 might as well be a Jumbo.
If the winrate begins to drop I absolutely recommend looking at some of @Fourche7 suggestions for new ammo types. On the flip side, if these new ammo types cause it to overperform this could go up to 3.7 with the M4A1. A new vehicle could be added at 3.3 which should be a relatively easy addition - the M4 105. Basically the same vehicle with minor hull differences but slower and lower engine HP.
USA RB Ground:
- T18E2: 3.0 up to 3.7
I don’t believe 3.3 will be enough. The T18E2 is effectively a wheeled Ram II with a better 6-Pdr (the US M1 57mm is equivalent to the 6-Pdr Mk V and has APHE). It’s a very rare vehicle, but that also means it’s in the hands of good players.
My point was gaijin just nuked most of the 3.x tanks what we don’t need is more compression at 1.0, I could care less about whatever if ands or buts happen to 3.x tanks at this point but I’d prefer we don’t just start adding tanks that don’t need to go down in BR when there are smarter ways to balance them which is why I suggested a reload increase given the M13, only has about 51mm pen, this helps it fall more in line with the smaller caliber guns in terms of ROF as reload is a balance factor just like BR.
Mode: GRB
Vehicle: SU-122-54.
BR Change: 6.7 to 7.0
Reasons: Very powerfull TD. Excellent movility, armor and firepower capable of firing HEATFS and APDS. Is ridiculous 5.7 tanks like Shermans or Tiger 1 face something like this.
Vehicle: ME 262 “Jabo”
Gamemode: GRB
Change: 7.0 to 6.7
Reason: Poor CAS performance due only is capable of carrie a single bomb. Far from beast like A2D or another super props can carrie much lager and powerfull armament. More closer in characteristics to ME 262 A-2a (6.7).
Vehicle: M26 pershing (Italian and French variants included)
BR change: 6.7 to 6.3.
Reasons: Weaker than most of the other 6.7. Most of the 5.3 tank can easily deal the M26 a BR change is needed.
Vehicle: F104G (CN)
Mode: Air RB
BR: 10.7>10.0
Reason: A flareless pencil at 10.7 for reason completely unknown, it is just terrible
Mode: GRB
Vehicle: Nashorn Tank Destroyer.
BR Change: 5.3 to 5.0
Reasons: Yes, a very capable gun but thats is all good. Movility is mediocre, very poor armor and suvivability, lack of a turret even his machineguns are very limited and in the most of the cases are useless.
USA RB Ground:
- M4: 3.7 up to 4.0
If the M4A1 goes up, so should the M4. It has more reliable armour and the applique eliminates potential weak spots. You could potentially give it T45 APCR, while not an amazing round it does offer options in uptiers.
USA RB Ground:
- M4A5: 3.7 up to 4.0.
This is a very meta vehicle. Very well armoured, gyro stab, good rate-of-fire and penetration. If we’re shifting all the regular Sherman’s up, then the Ram II (M4A5) should go up as well.
You should look at the 1963 PVKV and the 90/53 M41M, any opinions on them by chance?
Buffing tanks that are at massive disadvantage against their peers is not compression, it’s balance. It is in fact possible for a tank to be overtiered and placed alongside a bunch of overperforming and undertiered vehicles and it is in fact possible to both improve the underperforming tanks while nerfing the overperforming ones.
I would actually love to write up a more thorough rebalance for rank 1, though the rank 2 decompression is a more pressing matter and the rank 1 rework would require the addition of new vehicles to push up address certain overly strong reserve tanks.
USA RB Ground:
- M4A2: 4.0 up to 4.3.
It really is the ultimate 75mm Sherman currently. With all the other Sherman’s going up, so should it. I would also remove the turret cheek weakspot as the turret is based on a transitional M4A2 - still while quickfix was being applied to the hull but the turret casting was thickened to remove the weakspot.
Vehicle: Sdkfz 234/2 “Puma”
Gamemode: GRB
Change: No change just move to rank 3.
Reason: Germany is the only nation in game without acces to scouting in rank 3 for some reason. With this small change this can be fixed until more proper light tanks can be added.
Germany RB Ground:
- StuH 42 G: 3.0 up to 3.3 (was only increased to 3.3 in Arcade).
This is effectively the German equivalent to the M4A3 105, and is just as much of a seal clubber.
Vehicle: Magach 5
BR change: 8.0 to 8.3.
Reasons: Basically is a better German M48A2 but with lower BR. So is a nosense a tank with acces to reactive armor had a lower BR than exactly the same tank without this extra armor.
