I think i can see where the initial learning curve could be costly, but i have no issues personally with non-premium normal TT planes. Yes- Premium do better (ofcourse) but going negative would be a skill issue that will go away as the player learns what to do.
Can we stop convoys being hidden under the map or not being spotted next. Swiftly followed by kneecapping SPAA.
Yeah, its been terrible. The mode is not even worth playing below 11.7 due to the increased AAA. And it keeps getting harder. Most matches above 13.0, everyone just fights over the ocean because the AAA is so dense anywhere else. Some nations don’t even have counters available until top tier. They should have done this by a rotating bracket and tuned each bracket’s difficulty separate. I feel sorry for players in the 9.7 to 10.3 area. I think only US gets decent stand off ordinance there.
You guys should definitely be tuning it for players that are mid grind. Give them something they can actually do.
Not to mention there are now on average 6 of them around any one area mid game. If you aren’t running SEED from minute one, it gets annoyingly futile. You can use a full drop of harms and none of them get through. Or worse it gets thru and its 4x hits.
I think that is a technically limitation, they have had this issue in Heli EC, Air Sim, and even Air RB for years. They have to be rendered in for the logic to update their position.
the issue also happens in GRB on occasion for tank players and frqeuently in CAS. Its worse in NE as the things are death bubbles that you will die to with no fault of your own.
Something is seriously wrong with the game and its not been fixeddespite being an issue for a very VERY long time
They have acknowledged it. Several times throughout the tests.

You are so utterly reliant on teammates in this mode too which is bleak because if you run SEAD, to really have a good run dealing with SHORAD, your team needs to help fight off the enemy frontline fighters otherwise you spend your run doing that, and since getting within launch range of these SHORAD is a necessity (even with the very best ARMs for some reason), avoiding them while trying to kill another while trying to dodge an enemy player just feels far too crazy at the speeds the game is played at 13.0+.
Maybe this is more bearable in the lower brackets but then again, you have more rudimentary weapons to work with. So yeah overall my biggest complaint is with the sheer intensity of this game mode at the higher BRs because the AA is overtuned and the matter of constantly fighting off waves of enemies who’ve just respawned.
And as you said, unless you are constantly applying pressure to the SAMs from the start of the mission, I find teammates tend to forget about them and just get shot down by them instead, which is a symptom of the spotting issues alongside general negligence, so I’ve just resorted to playing in an isolated group with friends where we spawn on one side of the map, one does SEAD, one does CAS, one does A-A and the other helps the SEAD/CAS duo by playing the role of wild weasel, which is very successful but a bit of a shame, since NE still feels like it should be a teamwork oriented mode.
