Id kill for a 9.7 Tonka to use in GRB.
Gotta have to make do with the Buccaneer S.2 until Gaijin decides to give Britain a Tornado without guided bombs as well
Yeah… Its fine, but definetly not as good. Need to dust off the Jaaaaaaag as well now its 9.3
Nike hercules
i’m convinced that dumb bombs don’t appear on radars
Not sure, but even if they do, early radar SPAAGs can’t destroy them nearly as easily as later ones
honestly yeah, epically with how little you get for destroying air targets in GRB right now, considering how necessary it is for having some form of CAP it just isn’t rewarding with how much it costs to spawn in and get kills with
I think you missed the point, I am talking about the premium hornets being given ARHs and the massive BR increases that would come with that.
The Su-30s are already 13.7 planes, they just haven’t been put there yet and they where released when max BR was 14.3, so they have already fought top tier planes an done fine, although full up tiers where a bit rough.
Even putting aside my personal desire to keep my Hornet where it is, giving it ARHs will cause it to either under tiered and cause the same problems as the Su-30s or not under tired and horrible to play.
While BR changes are nessacery and inevitable, making such dramatic changes to weapons as adding fox 3s should not be made to premiums once they are being sold as it doesn’t just dramatically alter their BR but also their playstyle.
At least that is my opinion on the matter.
This is where the BR scaling from installed mods would be nice, uninstall the guided bombs/ fox 3s if you don’t want to have them available in a match and get a lower BR, there would probable need to be some limitations on it of course, taking all the missiles of my F-2A and going gun fighting at 10.7 or some nonsense would be funny but cancerous.
Yeah, it is one option, but does get messy fast.
That’s probably why Gaijin doesn’t want to do it, it would also make their stat balancing a nightmare trying to figure out what each plane was carrying, but if it was limited to only Fox 3s in air. Ground you would probably need to have laser and F&F separated, but I think that would be manageable.
But then Gaijin couldn’t make you grind an entire new plane for a slightly different load out could they?
Id go even further than that.
A toggle in mods window for “advanced weapons”.
Toggle that off and it disables certain things on certain aircraft.
For example Aim-9M for the Harrier GR7. Turning it essentially into a T.10
AMRAAM on something like the Tornado F3 Late. If it kept Aim-9Ms, then that would place it higher like 12.3/12.7
Etc etc.
But it to be used specifically and sparingly. Only where it would actually matter.
For the Tonka GR1, that could be disabling all guided weapons, no impact in ARB, but drops the GRB rating down to the same as the others.
But not everything would get such settings. That limits the amount of multi-BRs to a select few vehicles, and only 2 per vehicle.
Might make the system managable
That sounds like a good way to handle it.
the nation i main doesnt have a viable SPAA for the respective BR from 4.0 until 8.3. the 5.3 spaas are pretty mid meaning i rely on planes to kill planes
Pangolin thinks the Bosvark is more the capable of providing adequate protection from 5.3 to 8.3+
If you’re have decent then getting SP for CAP won’t be a problem.
False. I said the Bosvark is adequate against early jets and late props (~6.0-7.0). The fact that you need to lie about what I said is further confirmation that you’re just flat out wrong.
i mean its got a ZU-23-2 on the back, same gun system thats been strapped to the BTR ZD. In theory that should be a 6.7 SPAA however its firing angles are so abysmally trash that its pretty mid even for 5.3
its not an issue for me. however shouldnt be a requirement
play it for yourself. its not a BTR ZD at all
Imo it should. CAP should do most of the anti-CAS work whilst SPAA should be a cheap and disposable deterrent.
It’s basically just two Ystervarks.
I do think it should be more expensive than a capture before some lobotomite gets a yak9k but generally its fine.
with a worse firing angle and a larger size to aim at with bombs or HE
Unless you are good with the ZSU-57-2, Israel is stuck with the TCM-20 until the Hovet as well and, if we go with Pangolins ridiculous BR raise for all radar SPAAGs, that Hovet would be 8.3
The US similarly lacks viable SPAAs to use between 4.0 and 7.3 (8.3 with the BR raise)
I don’t even know what I’d call Swedens best SPAA to use until the VEAK 40 because the U-SH 204 GK is the most vulnerable vehicle in the entire game (most of the armour is between 7 and 10mm thick and it has only 2 crewmen) and the 40mm ones are, well, they are single gun 40mm SPAAGs
