AMRAAMS at least have a considerable chance to kill someone at range.
MICA’s and R-77’s are practically useless at range.

No, you have no idea how much better the radar of the 2S6 is compared to the OSA. It can quickly detect targets and has a wider range. Due to the fixed launch angle of 45°, the OSA’s missiles may not be able to intercept. Moreover, the 2S6 can also intercept with its machine gun
Incorrect. Thermal imaging can help you better observe the movement of missiles, so as to guide them to the vicinity of the target
Can OSA hit targets located overhead? Can CAS located overhead be found using T 6 1 without thermal imaging?
