Fakour is still a threat due to how fast it is.
R-77’s pull well, but have awful energy retention and range.
Just do a 180 and it will not hit. If you just go blindly into furballs, then its really on you.
you can see it clearly coming from 40km away.
One notch and the missile is gone
The current wt meta is close-medium range launches
Especially at that br where vehicles are slower
Which makes R-77 the meta missile

Wait, I’ve only just seen this post, what the hell? An official CM statment that entire teams of mostly prem Su-30s (and sometimes only prem Su-30s) constantly play in mirror matches against themselves, and this is treated not as a huge problem and matchmaker breaking down, but as an actual good reason to keep them where they are? O_O

The one gripe which i feel a majority of the community spoke out about is the Su30 premiums destroying the matchmaker. Which is addressed as they shouldnt see top tier 14.7s but can ruin 12.3s?!
IRIAF goes to 13.7 but su30s no? A one trick pony plane thats lands and leaves is more potent than an army of su30s wild

The rest i feel are more simple balance issues. Also the zeros going up is crazy.
(I have not played props in a while but zeros sucked last year when i went to spade them)

The tiger 2p was 6.3 for the longest time and was fine. I dont think it going back to 6.3 will cause a lot of issues.

The minimal amount of sense needed for those was truly troubling on the balancing department, surely.
The “nothing” part here being the scratched out mistakes and senseless changes?

The last two decades I was an underpaid, overworked general contractor for Uncle Sam both here and abroad, I moonlighted as a freelance dev for tabletop RPGs and wargames (and sometimes a fusion of the both)
I can work as a game dev. I HAVE worked as a game dev. And one who’s work was a lot better than this.
But this is really not their fault. Don’t blame the devs: They’re just hired help. They don’t run GJ. Someone else does. At the end of the day it’s that group of Oligarchs that is trying to run this game…one with more potential than I’ve seen in…fk, 44 years of playing videogames. I’ll guarantee you they have a LOT less power than you think.
You only get 2 more missiles and guns over osa which dont really make huge difference. At cost at being inferior at killing planes.
Various terrains at spawn which is not always possible to leave unless you want somebody to slime you out.
You have a radar and t 6 1 cmd. Thermals doesnt offer much. Tor doesnt have thermals and this doesnt make it any worse.
Only 1 good thing worth being 1 br step higher, at 10.7. Not at 11.0. Also strela excels at closer ranges.
Enemies at those brs are fast so you arent flanking anything and 30mm poopoo is nowhere close to 35mm aphe on oerlikon spaa.
Luckily, range is secondary to pull, as evident by the fact that until the addition of AESAphoons, top dog for ARB for almost entiriety of the last year was Rafale.

You can see em, but you may not have the time to notch them, because the fakours are that fast.
Again, the R-77’s are only “meta” because dimwits like to go into furballs, or keep hugging the ground all match.
Like, why do most F-15 players tend to merge with SU-30’s instead of just running away and blasting AMRAAMS from a such a distance, that the underperforming R-77’s will be useless? Such question remains a mystery.

Regarding the Su-30, the given statement reads like a “we could move them up, and they will have troubles facing full up tiers, making two (three J-11A should be included”) suffer in up tiers, therefore we chose to throw a whole range of Bars under the Bus instead - they are our cash cows after all (and the next undertiered premium isn’t ready yet).
It’s even stated that their match maker wouldn’t change that much as they are being spammed, making them face each other mostly, but anyways f’ 12.3+.
