Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

It’s amazing and insane that 2012 GPUs still have support in late 2026
For the couple dozen at best that still have them, this is great. It’s a massive shame that ULQ legacy card support is used as an exploit by tryhards to get an unfair visual advantage.

There’d be a “Planned Technical Maintenance” post if this was the Major update

Guess they missed this one
Only their 20 series and beyond have actual support from Nvidia

Meanwhile XBOX is still on X.X.X.125 - where is my Naval Aiming fix that supposedly arrive in .135?
honestly the GTX 1050 being the lowest supported GPU would be acceptable. thats also an incredibly old card, 20 and 30 series are common and cheap nowadays most pcs of the last decade are well above a 700
Shame how the average FPS on it is only 80 on 120Hz mode, trees have way too much fidelity along with grass

Believe it or not, there still is a sizeable amount of those old GPUs present on the Steam Hardware survey
9% of Steam users that have submitted their hardware specs still have less than 4Gb of VRAM and the GTX 750 Ti and the GTX 900 series GPUs still are common enough to be listed individually on the survey.
There’s nothing wrong with supporting older hardware anyways lol
not saying it is. Its just shocking to see ps3 era gpus in support
I mean, when WT came out the GTX 600 series was still recent lol
the game is based on a game that 2009 IL2 game gaijin made, even still has some models and sound clips from it to this day.
Its ok for min specs to jump eventually, especially when 0.1% of all steam survey takers are using these cards, a lot of these probably arent main systems anymore and even less will actually be playing anything even close to a game needing 3d graphics.
A few will lose out but man i can not wait for the days where ULQ abusers lose their exploit. Even minecraft doesnt support 700 series anymore.
I don’t think they would drop ULQ, even if they went so far as to stop supporting everything that’s older than the GTX 1000 series
Yeah, that’s because modern Minecraft is one of the most bloated and horribly optimized games out there
This game is also bloated in size and a complete mess for optimisation in areas. I also honestly doubt a guy with a GTX760 is gonna be using a 1tb SSD on that system for video games with how much they cost now

Somebody that is using an older GPU isn’t going to download the full ultra HQ client lmao
They will likely also have more than enough space for WTs basic 70Gb client and some more games, storage used to be very cheap.
They have absolutely no reason to drop support for older systems and raising the minimum requirements isn’t going to get rid of the ULQ boogeyman.
i use ULQ cuz my laptop is shit
