Update 2.57.1.132

Nuclear Escalation

  • ☢Jaguar A — countermeasures have been added.
  • New nuclear weaponry carrying aircraft are now available in battles: ☢Su-17M4 (USSR), ☢Su-17M4 (China). They have replaced the ☢Su-7 in both Battle Rating brackets. In the near future we plan to add the ☢Jaguar A without countermeasures to the lower Battle Rating bracket, and then the ☢Su-7 for the USSR and China will be returned to this bracket.
  • Bugs that sometimes caused long-range SAMs to launch a salvo of missiles to the same target and to switch to targets with less priority has been fixed.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

that’d be why an S-75 site salvo’d 4 missiles straight into the ground when i was flying my A-7

Is there any intent to fix / update the F-117’s RCS. Currently detectable and targetable by S-75’s outside of 10km consistently. As well as by earlier radars and jets in the same bracket.

If you have acceptable sources to prove that something is incorrectly modeled in the game compared to IRL then you can make a historical report for it here: Gaijin.net // Issues (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about)

A general guide on how to report can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

For historical reports they do have some requirements for sources:

Still no fix for Naval Arcade aiming…

Won’t be long before the accountants will be asking why certain premiums aren’t selling (hint: because they are on the broken list). Maybe then???

Works fine for me?
Maybe a little bit forward of where you intend to hit, but that could just be other things

Have the devs mentioned any plans to use creative liberty with the F-117A? I could site sources about expected RCS’ as I will on the forums, and redraw the events of the Serbian shootdown till we die, but I believe there is a community discussion to be had about cutting some corners or taking liberties with a vehicle nobody can truly pinpoint.

The problem is some ships aim true, others need to lead - except there’s no lead marker as their used to be before the ‘easy aim’ update. Also the same gun can act differently depending on ship and priority (main/sec/AA). And to top it off 2hilst some sec/AA will fire at all targets depending on setting, others will only shoot at air Or ground… It’s a mess. [they need to pick a lane and stick with it!]

Oh yes…Albatros/Bussard front gun auto firing is still not fixed.

Are you guys ever going to fix the Naval bug that makes several ships totally unplayable? because that’s something people SHOULD be fixed sense it’s been almost 4 weeks sense it popped up.

It’s been how many updates already that you still havent fixed the quick spawn nuke carrier issues?

If you spawn with quick spawn, you spawn with a full fuel jet with stuff attached to it that don’t work and you spawn on the airfield, and if you dont (J out then spawn the nuke) you spawn with the old carrier, above the airfield, with min fuel.

Reported it 2 times already : Community Bug Reporting System
While the full fuel on quick spawn issue is soon 2 years old and still not fixed, dropped in the “accepted” limbo.

When will you stop wasting time fixing minor issues concerning the nuke carriers when you literally have a bug that completely prevents you from dropping a nuke (you can barely takeoff) if you use “quick spawn” and if you dont you get to drop?

I mean it’s so obvious nobody at gaijin plays their game it’s just poetic at this point.
