Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
The radar on the F-2A/ADTW still isn’t working properly. I don’t understand how they can sell a faulty plane and not see this as a problem—aren’t two months enough to fix a single defect?
A plane whose main selling point is its AESA radar—and yet its radar is faulty. What’s more, it ended up on the summer sale xD
We want to assure you that we are indeed working on returning the sound mods. The last delay has been caused by the fact that we need crash stats from usual players on a variety of software and hardware configurations, so the deployment of a version where the mods are re-enabled has to go through the WiP version of the game, and this version has to stay just on WiP client for some time.
But keeping any version on the WiP client effectively blocks the deployment of subsequent versions, as deployment of urgent fixes would either enable sound mods for everyone without that step of gathering stability stats. This might lead to crashes, or would make us constantly remove and re-introduce support of the sound mods every other version on the WiP client. Leading to wasted time and delay the urgent fixes from reaching the production version of the game.
However, in the upcoming days, after the currently planned urgent fixes reach production, we plan to enable sound mods on WiP client for testing.
Can we expect a fix for the F-2’s radar in the next patch? Right now, the plane has lost its biggest advantage—its AESA radar—and it’s a premium aircraft that costs quite a bit…
SPICE seems to be pretty buggy, i can’t enter targeting pod view when i have them equipped, and the seeker freaks out when i use the new targeting method, and mitl seems to retarget random points when trying to relock in specific phases of flight. Also, idk if it is intended that the seeker is completely immovable by swiveling the view in third person (hms targeting)
When will the bug that prevents you from making markers on the minimap in GFs be fixed?Team play is already scarce enough, without the game itself not letting you mark positions on the map.
