Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
im starting to think its either much more difficult than it seems or outright impossible in the given timeframe, theyve listened to lots of other feedback
AAA needs to be nerfed harder than giving them limited ammo and a reload timer. They will shoot you from over 10km away. They see you coming before you even know they are there as if they have ESP and always know your position.
You’re constantly dodging over 4-7 missiles at a time from AAA groups. “Oh but ground targets have been increased in score!” yet they still intercept your munitions and these lovely HARMs that you gave us specifically for the event to do SEAD.
If you choose to ground pound, good luck even getting close enough to drop bombs before you die to a SAAM volley.
Air targets are almost worthless to go for now. Used to be 20 kills to get 2500 score. Now it’s closer to 30 AND it takes you longer to get them because bases have been moved apart.
Nukes are harder to get because they cost more AND air kills count for less. So you’ve now moved the goal post further back two times in one change. Effectively making it 2 times harder to get to the little nukes and making the games last longer.
Give USSR the SU27. Fix the USA queue (it’s still horrible. Not as bad. But still horrible). Nerf the AAA. Revert the point decrease for air target kills.
What is your reasoning for saying “No” to allowing the 13.0 SU-27? USA gets the F-14B with 6 AIM54’s and 2 AIM9L’s. The closest thing USSR gets in the 13.0 matchup is the YAK-141 and the MiG-29 with 2 ERs and some R73s each. Give them the SU-27. It’s effectively just like USA having an F-14B with way less countermeasures.
BUKs tracking through 2 hills and hitting me without any lock is some kind of black magic.
Gepards and Shilkas insta-locking on you or guided munitions without radar lock and lasing everything close is also pretty bad.
And lets not forget the laser accurate BMP and Bradleys. They act like they have trackign radar in case you get within 2km of them.
Most player dont even have all the good planes to use both sides and in terms of interceptors alone,Mig23 its insanely better than the F4E alone making it a very insane dissadvantage for people who cant afford the F4S or who never touched air in general, its all a bad thought process IMO and you cannot tell me otherwise
The US alone in the lower bracket needs to rely on premium vehicles to do something against Mig23 spam
note that i like the event,i dont like the planes they gave calling fair comparison
As US main there is NO way that i take 10 hours to complete 1 single Medal cause they plane literally blows so bad they are not even usable, even if i go for ground targets we all know the OSAs uses dark magic to mentally know with optics alone to guide radar missiles with radar off…intercepting you and the other 6 AGMs in the air
Meanwhile when i play USSR f2p btw since im just 3.3 in air there, all i need its 1 game to finish it or at max 1 game and a half to completely finish 1 medal…idk bro,atp just change the F4E with the F4S
R-27ERs can switch targets mid-flight and can be outright impossible to notch on good hands due to IOG+DL in addition of 20km HMS PD that in practice works like an AESA on freq. track.
Again, no. The MiG-29 9-13 is already good to counter F-14s (and most of the US plane pool except the hornets).
