It matters. Your missiles can’t be proxyed by objects flying around prior to reaching the intended target. Essentially, GJ added missile ARM function.

Small update>ARH and SARH air-to-air missiles < mention of SARH was removed. They are unaffected by the change.

Can you provide clarification for Surface to Air ARH missiles too please?

Did you miss the part where it says “if the missile was launched at an aircraft”

So if you were targeting munitions it will still detonate because the target size is the same size as expected.

This should be a toggle, like a “Switch seeker target filtering” option, not a forced mechanic. In many cases, this is a massive nerf to the launching player rather than a buff!

For ARH SAM players, ARH missiles could previously change in effective role (interception of aircraft to interception of munitions or vice versa) midflight. This is not a categorical disadvantage, as often the target aircraft’s munitions became the more important target midflight. In this case, the retargeting could be initiated by momentarily turning off the radar. Also, there are certain situations in which the missile would not be able to reach the intended aircraft anyway, and so would be effectively trashed if the ARH seeker ignored launched munitions of the target aircraft.

For example, a SPAA engages a target aircraft at long range with an ARH SAM, in which the aircraft launched AGMs, then dove from the view of the radar, forcing the SAM to go blind (then the aircraft changing course away from the SAM’s path). Previously, the missile had a chance to lock on and destroy the only remaining target (ie, the AGM) instead of being wasted. With this update, however, the SAM will still lock on to the munition, but cannot proxy fuze against them, making interception extremely unlikely and rendering the missile useless against remaining targets.

We already have very accurate targeting of the intended target via DL, you can already (very reliably) target planes and helicopters even if there are missiles in between. Besides, the update doesn’t even address the seeker’s target. So there is no clear benefit to this change. It is instead a big, unrealistic nerf to the effectiveness of ARH missiles, constituting the wholesale removal of a game mechanic; it is the equivalent of burning down a home in response to seeing a bug inside.

I hope this change is completely reverted as soon as possible.

are sound mods going to come back yet
i do not care if others are having issues with the sound mods it should not effect the ones that dont have crashes
if players crash then they should not use the mods

well its been like this for what… over a month now?
Im not even expecting them to bring it back anytime soon at this point… it must have been soooo hard to fix :p
(not to mention many ppl I know including me didnt even have an issue lmao)

the fact it went live for like 10 min before they reverted it because so many people were crashing

there is a way to get around the mod not being enabled but its not as good and a bit annoying as you can only do it on the steam version and you have to redo it every time an update goes up

What is the radio for in a tank if it still doesn’t provide any useful information? It doesn’t show what tank is on the map or what is even on the map at all. How does the radio work? The crew is maxed out, but they don’t do anything. So what is the point of the CREW level if they basically don’t exist? An enemy tank is driving 10 meters away from me and I can’t see it? Tanks can’t be seen through a fence, tanks can’t be seen through bushes. So what is going on here, and what kind of updates are these if they don’t fix anything?
