Aircraft

  • F8F-1, F8 F-1B, F8F-1B (France) — the modification requirement for unlocking the ability to carry 500 lb bombs has been corrected. (Re port).
  • JAS39D — a bug that caused pylon fragments to remain hovering in the air after the wing was torn off has been fixed.
  • F-5A(G) — the erroneously added radar has been removed. (Report).
  • A29B, J29 (all variants) — a bug that caused the stat card to state that the aircraft had 2 engines has been fixed. (Report).

Ground Vehicles

  • A bug that caused the lack of display of more than one type of main weapon’s shell/belt and the inability to switch between them on vehicles with the configurable type and/or number of special weapons has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug that caused the lack of display of the shell/belt choice for the second gun on vehicles with two guns has been fixed. (Report).
  • ZTZ96B — after researching new data, the laser warning system will be added back soon and the tank visual model will be corrected later to have the LWS. laser warning system has been removed. The LWS/LR modification has been replaced with the “Laser rangefinder” modification.
  • BTR-3E1 — a bug that caused the ESS to not generate any smoke has been fixed. (Report).
  • CRV Block 2, KF-41 — a bug that caused a text key to display in the stat card instead of the name of the StrikeShield APS has been fixed.
  • Eitan (P) — a bug that caused the coaxial machine gun to be missing from X-ray view has been fixed. (Report).

Sound

  • The sound of rockets and missiles flying has been adjusted, they now stand out less against the background of other events.
  • The positioning of the sound of engines and tracks of ground vehicles, as well as aircraft engines, has been adjusted for headphone mode.
  • The sounds of tank tracks have been made slightly more noticeable at a distance of 100-200 m from the player.

Graphics

  • The cause of lag spikes which occurred when rotating the camera in the Linux version of the game has been fixed.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

I want to know the justification for the developers removing the laser warning system and electro-optical targeting from the 96B. The 96B I purchased wasn’t a small investment, and I hope the developers can provide an official explanation as to why these features were present on the test server, and even after the official server update, we still had them. Yet, just two days later, the developers removed them. I simply want to know the reasoning behind this. Either the developers should keep the equipment and increase the vehicle’s battle rating to 12.0 (which I can accept), or maintain it at 11.7. However, as consumers, we deserve an explanation or compensation, such as Gaijin Coins for players who purchased the 96B (after all, it’s just virtual currency).

Totally agree. I purchased the ZTZ-96B after officially updated to avoid there might be some items different from the test server. How can user know you guys dare to get 96B a nerf just a few days after the update? You guys show no respect at all towards the players and consumers. Even on WT wiki, 96B is still marked as having LWS.

Devs are still collecting info on LWS module on ZTZ96B. Vehicle visual model will be updated and LWS added back in upcoming minor updates…

How about the dev’s just decide to fix the sounds and then leave them as is once fixed, instead of updating them every fecking update?

4 years ago they were great, no problem figuring out where enemy vehicles could be. But the constant tinkering with it, causes nothing but frustrations.

@Stona_WT Do we know when F-2A will get its target filter? I was really excited to use one of the main features brought in this update. The bug report was accepted 5 days ago but it’s still open.

So considering the fact the T-90M was already able to be heard a crazy almost 300 meters away, does this mean now it can be heard when it spawns in across the map?

I’m just going to ask for something simple. Would it be possible to fix the problem of the extreme FPS drop just from looking at trees? On all the damn maps that have been improved, looking at trees causes a drop of more than 70 or 80 FPS.
