Near impossible =/= impossible. If I’d said impossible, that would effectively imply no matter the side, defending from CAS is not an option. If that’s moving the goalposts, then shows how terrible the map actually is by only having one side that’s able to defend marginally from CAS.
I happen to like Abandoned Factory as well. My only condition to like CQB-intensive maps is to have an option for medium range engagements without an exponential risk of being flanked out of the blue and being unable to do something about it. The three maps I mentioned before fail to some relevant degree, Breslau (lane based, though some building blocks are empty and its absurdely easy for a light or even a fast medium to camp around unnoticed), Campania (Although every spawn side can be a place for long range engagements, that implies you’re at risk of being spawncamped, not good) and port (Any version is terrible over the criteria I explained imho).
