Update 2.53.0.63

Aircraft

  • A bug that caused the calculation of track speeds to be incorrect when a large number of targets was detected by a radar with ESA in TWS mode has been fixed. (Report).

Interface

  • A bug that caused an extra parameter to be present in the crew window in the Repair category has been fixed. (Report).

Graphics

  • A bug that in some cases caused the textures of impact markers, snow and some others to not render on some parts of buildings has been fixed.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

Will the game’s graphics ever be optimized? There are many maps where you lose a significant number of FPS, especially in Attica, and in many other maps you lose between 50 and 60 FPS just by being near trees, even losing 90 or 100 when inside a forest.

Can we get a radar filter for air just like the filter SPAA has. It would be really helpful to switch just air targets in TWS rather than skipping through 20 missiles before seeing a plane pop up.

what why? where in the game is things like that causing you issues lol

I don’t like having to see those shitty pfps.

but the furry ones for 3 years weren’t a bother

We should be able to disable those too.

its not like a decal your forced to see in game the only times you see it are by hovering on someones profile or when you die to them for a couple seconds I feel like they arent actually causing you that much issue.

However I do agree there should be a setting that has all fictional or cosmetics turned off so you can get around low tier bush buyers and stupid obnoxious or racist decal combos,

This is definitely an example of the most inoffensive or intrusive non-realistic game feature, that was the only reason I was intrigued. if its not a bother could you give an example of where its annoying because I just cant see how the profile picture poses an annoyance in actual games.

We should have an option to toggle profile pictures visibility. It’s annoying to be forced to see the profile picture of the person who recently destroyed your vehicle; previously there was no such thing. Some of them are especially insulting, such as the Senrai Maidens one, or this one, called “Metal head Santa”.

I have no idea what this creature is, but it is painted like a clown, has too much hair, and is showing an inappropriate and insulting gesture by sticking his tongue out. It is similar in appearance to the rotting body of a wild animal days after it was shot in the head.

It’s become a feature for paying players to force others to see their disgusting profile pictures like this one.

has controls saving and loading for consoles been fixed yet?

When are you going to fix the target selection for ground vehicles that use Spike missiles ?
I’m tired of not being able to lock onto an enemy because the missile keeps locking onto a dead target instead of the alive one.

Finally my bug report got fixed. Top tier radars were cooked.

Still no gripen fix

Yes.
Some fixes for consoles are implemented into code with a small delay (that’s why sometimes console version of the game can have different version number). AFAIK in such case, they are temporary fixed via server side.
