The full statement addresses the concern…
BMPT is the highest BR 800mm ATGM and 60mm angled pen APDS shooter in the game.
Most if not every other new controversial OP vehicle has gone up 0.3 initially, so time will tell.
This change will stop it from seeing many downtiers as 9.7 lineups only exist as a 2 vehicle lineup in Japan, and it can’t see the 9.3 lineups of all 10 tech trees anymore.
This just leaves the 10.0 lineups of Israel [3BM60 equivalent round on Sabra Mk1], France, Germany, and USA for those of us with event vehicles.
It is a larger improvement than it staying at 10.3 where it can face the 9.3 lineups of all 10 tech trees.
Now it’s far, far more likely that it primarily sees 11.3 and 11.7 matches.
And I await to see if BMPT goes to 11.0.

Well, perhaps if the lot of you, and the YouTubers stopped saying “Russian bias exists” or “this vehicle is op” etc etc, people would stop listening, and stop buying them.
That’s typically what happens you know?
Some YouTuber:
“Oh this Russian vehicle is absolutely broken, etc etc” in reality it could be, or it couldn’t, but it drives people to buy it anyways
You guys definitely make it seem wayyy wayyyy better than it is, and thus make it get purchased more. You don’t see your part of it do you?
Additionally, I’ve only had one issue vs them, and it’s because I whiffed a shot, other wise they’ve all been 1 taps.

Can you look also at Littorio class battleships in the game as well and give them theoretical reloading rate as for you favorite Sovetsky Soyuz ship? Why should fully built and served ship be artificially nerfed in terms of rate of fire and accuracy compared to canceled ships?
Make it 8.7, but implement it in an adequate way.

Not saying this thing is OP as hell would be to ignore the massive problem. Yea its the Streisshand effect but thats the only way this company listens…

I would really like to know what was Gaijin BR guy thinking when they put BMPT at the same BR as canon only PUMA.
Hey BMPT has way more firepower, way more MBT like armor, can fire ATGM over obstacles exposing only commander’s sight but… ?

I disagree, you can usually one tap a BMPT, you can’t usually 1 tap a T58
Am I saying it was okay for it to be 10.3? Not at all.
But anything over say 11.0 / 11.3 is too much.
Like in my proposed br list, I think it fits 11.0 nicely. And I haven’t used it yet.
But why the T-64B nerf? :(
Let’s not forget the PUMA was added to the game as an 8.3 / 8.7

i have smacked a few with a one shot in Ajax today tbf, i think they may have changed some things in the backend.
Deserved. 8.7 shouldnt be seeing such a vehicle.
its also not had its actual nerf to the composite done yet. Even tho theyt said it was coming with the last major update.

Why would it need a composite nerf? Also that would just lower it in br again.

PUMA has somewhat decent protection agains 30mm auto canon ammo, which is what is it was designed for IRL.
PUMA by any means is not resistant to MBT ammo even around 8.7 BR where the 400mm pen is not uncommon.
Meanwhile BMPT is now at the same BR like Leo 2A4. BMPT hull ad turret is resistant to DM23 but Leos armor does not provide any protection against BMPTs 800mm pen ATGM.
Again I would like to know the Gaijins reasoning when they gave BMPT BR 10.3

Speculation is not knowledge.
Thinking something is not the same as knowing something.
They admit 10.7 may not be enough, seems like they know it rather than it being just a speculation, its their game afterall, they have all the data to it, and us players have seen the bmpt in the battle and how annoying it is it to kill, even at top tier it does pretty well for itself.

I doubt it, they say that to us to avoid admitting its overpowered at its BR, but in reality, im sure they know it just like us, ask anyone and they’ll agree that its op, even at 10.7
