Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

wow, goes to show how bad that new system with 30s really was, if the time lowered by 7.5 times already

Just get rid of the new system in general.

It’s optional, you do not need to use it.

  • While in the hangar, players are able to return to the old version of the Damage Control mechanic by using the option in the Options > Naval Battle Settings.

Make so to turn it on you have to go to settings, not turn it off. More people dislike it so it makes sense for it to come automatically off.

Yeah, just like we said, 30 seconds is wildly unreasonable. I am still waiting for the option to use the old Naval Arcade aiming. I refuse to play a mode that is continually being transformed into an AFK “simulator”.

No skill. No thought. No fun.

Like the Arcade mode of Naval?

Yes. I detest the new Naval Arcade Battles (NAB) aiming system. I am glad some/a few people like it. However, many of us DETEST it. I have simply been asking for a option to use the old aiming system.

Furthermore, before the change, you could use Realistic Aiming in NAB. But they removed the ability to do that too! (The option is still in the menu, but doesn’t have any effect now.) Forcing you to use the new/current brainded, zero feedback aiming system in NAB.

Idk about Arcade Naval, but Realistic Naval is super fun and I think it uses the old Aiming system.

Naval Realistic is still using the same aiming system, for years now. Again, I am happy that you enjoy the RB mode. However, I just do not like Realistic battles. Not in land, sea, or air. It is just a personal preference, I just do not have much fun in RB modes. I can play them just fine, get plenty of points, even get to the top of the score board. I just do not enjoy BR, so I do not play RB modes.

Thus, for me personally, playing Naval RB is not a solution to the dumbing down/ruining of Naval Arcade battles, specifically the changes to the aiming system (and without a simple menu option to use the old system that I prefer and had used for years.)

Man I honestly kinda liked this, wish it was kept around and was expanded upon for different SFX when you actually get a kill and not just an assist. Would make getting kills more “interactive”, in a sense.

I spent way longer than id care to admit taking off my headphones and wondering if it was my smoke alarm or freezer alarm and getting so confused when there was nothing wrong with them

Fix CLAWS radar rotation/scan speed please, bug report got accepted 5 months ago when the CLAWS was still in dev server and there has been no change at all :(

AN/MPQ-64 Radar Scan Rate Too Slow // Gaijin.net // Issues

Also the radar is supposed to be X-band, but i dont really care. I care much more about the unrealistically slow radar scan speed above.

Ah damn. I actually liked that assist sound. It was like a metallic clang.
