Aircraft

  • F-104G — a bug that caused the hardpoint for the air-to-air missile under the fuselage to be missing in some custom secondary weapon presets has been fixed. (Report).
  • Su-30MK2 AMV — incorrect maximum launch speed of the Kh-59ME missile has been corrected to 1.01M. (Report).
  • Z-10ME — the name of the BA-11 modification has been corrected. (Report).
  • Mosquito B.Mk.XVI — the categories of the 500 LB S.A.P. Mk.II and G.P. 500 lb Mk.IV bombs in the secondary weapons menu have been corrected. (Report). A bug that caused some rockets on the right wing to not display has been fixed. (Report).
  • F-15C Golden Eagle — a bug that caused the installation of missiles on BOL countermeasure pylons to cause the pylon on the left wing to not display has been fixed. (Report).

Ground Vehicles

  • ADATS (all variants) — the MIM-146 missile has been made smokeless. (Report).
  • A bug that caused the name of a M44/55 group to display as a text key has been fixed. (Report).

Interface

  • With the release of the Spearhead major update, separate settings called “Effects resolution”, “Heat haze” and “Particle density” have been replaced with a single setting called “Effects quality” with different quality values.

Sound

  • A bug that caused tank engine sounds of other players to sound idle regardless of their actual RPM has been fixed.
  • The speech of the instructor in tutorial missions is no longer drowned out by the aircraft engine sounds.
  • XF5U-1 — unique engine sounds have been added.
  • The engine sounds of LVT series tanks have been changed to historically accurate ones, the same as on the Stuart M3 tank.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

What about the issue that u pick a tank spawn (like spawn 1) and spawn at the other one (spawn 2) + it dosnt safe what u have selected for the next spawn?

That has lead already to a lot of frustration yesterday in our discord.

I’ve noticed that the ACM for MIG-23 ML, MLD and, MLA suddenly changed the angle of the radar? Because I don’t remember it having a radar pointing upwards. I don’t know if the hungarian Mig 23 has it too.

Please revert this change or at least allow us to turn off heat haze separately without affecting the quality of the other settings. As it stands right now, to turn off heat haze I have to put “effects quality” on medium, and this affects “Effects resolution” and “Particle density” as well since they are now all bundled together.

I want to turn off heat haze without downgrading the quality of the other values.

There’s a bug many players have experienced yesterday about GRB. It’s about spawning to the wrong point you select during the waiting time before the match starts.

Yeah. Frustrating, hope will be fixed very soon

The graphics menu is ruined i used to be able to have heat haze and particles at max with res at medium and get 165fps, but now with the new dumb “effects quality” slider at “medium” i cant get over 80 fps and to boot it looks worse than how I HAD IT. The reason people pick PC is because it gives us control and being told to give it up for a “uNiFiEd” slider that makes the game look worse and run worse is a insult. REMINDER that 70% of gamers still only have 8gb vram. I spent $1,500 (I make very little) on my PC and have only had it for 1.5 years I SHOULDENT have to go buy another one. Please revert to the previous menu. I might have to hang up WT for a whole year again like last time. i7-13650HX 32gb ddr5 RTX-4060 oem acer overclock. mixture of medium to max settings at 1920x1200 165hz. (all caps are not to be aggressive but to make points clear) To be specific the new slider at “medium” looks “WORSE” but keeps the fps and having it at “high” makes the game look “HOW I HAD IT” before but now it runs worse. Something else ive now noticed is idling in the hanger with the RU SU-30 idles at 70fps but idling with the F-15JM is full 165-164 wtffff what are they doing? this is tragic and all started with the major update.

I think that they did fix it i was playing to day and selected a spawn and it kept it even after i died
