The graphics artists that worked on several of these “map revisions” have done a similar thing to many places where there is water meeting land. They have made these huge “bumps” instead of a gradual incline as you transition from the water to the ground(and vice versa). While going down into the water is not an issue, “climbing” out of the water can be. Sometimes just merely an annoyance, but as shown here, can be a gameplay issue.
I first noticed this “problem” on the revised Jungle map. While depending on the soil “type” in the area of water, this “bumpy” landscape is possible. However in certain places, like a beach where it is far more “sandy”, this attribute is not so likely.
Just unnatural in appearance and an unneeded & unwanted feature that most likely won’t, but should be “edited” to a more suitable proportion . . . imho
I don’t like to be “nitpicky”, but if this “issue” does not get “fixed” I would at least hope in the future, moving forward, the map designers could avoid making further places like this and instead put in something more “playable”.
I think besides the Mech Walker event waaay back, I may have actually tried to be sneaky in the canal on the Eastern Europe map maybe 3 - 4 times in total and I remember getting ONE kill doing so, other than that, while kind of fun it was not very “profitable” or productive . . . . lol. But you gotta try, right?

i managed to climb all the copied structures shown in your post, (side climbed in zbd04a) but failed to climb the rest of the normal city climbs, other than directly next to the west spawn bridge at e2 (battle eastern europe map used)

If you kill any enemy while he’s in the detection range of your spawn he will be shown on minimap for the rest of the game. No matter how many times he’ll die or where he’ll position himself.
@Stona_WT So when can we expect the snail to fix the only stationary SPAA considering its horrible mobility or a response that they are getting rid of it since they openly stated the game engine cant handle it?
im not sure about the 30mm but the type99 20mm cannon work fine on the j6k1. I do only play it in GRB as an anti cas plane, however i have no issues shreding planes with it
id also like to add i use the yak3u and VK for anti cas too, and havent encountered problems there either
This was like a year ago… maybe 2 its been like this forever, people cried about the SAAB 105 and SK60 being OP in air RB but these are the guns for basically all swedish 30mm. 102% to spark with 2% margine of error
Oh i do but im just saying its not like that on 90% of other nations 30mm guns so its not worth gaijins time, maybe with the French Defa, gaijin may look at it but its more likely they’ll ignore it unfortunately.
Not to mention all bodies of water in game are as choppy as a patch of ocean in the middle of the pacific during a storm. Cant aim for shit while in the water.
