F-2A,F-2A ADTW, Su-34 — gating (filtering) restrictions for speed and range when switching from TWS mode to track modes have been made more stringent in order to reduce the likelihood of acquiring the wrong target.
Interface
The ability to pin the visual weapon selector to the screen using an action in its interface has been added.
The pinned selector does not stop aircraft control when moving the cursor. Interaction with it is performed using the cursor activated using the “Show mouse cursor” action.
The pinned selector can be collapsed and expanded using the “Visual weapon selector” action, and the pinned state is remembered just in the battle you are in.
The ability to filter the list of targets by allied/enemy team has been added to the radar control screen.
A bug where turning on sight stabilization on aircraft via the gamepad radial menu also turned on the night vision device has been fixed.
Locations and Missions
In variants of the missions below where the Battle Rating session is 10.7+, an air spawn point has been added:
[Operation] Afghanistan
[Operation] Kamchatka
[Operation]Smolensk
[Operation]Golan Heights
[Operation]Denmark
Finland — a bug that could cause invisible collision to appear in some places in the location has been fixed. Missions in this location have been returned to the rotation.
Graphics
A bug where when PTGI (Path Traced Global Illumination) was enabled, unused ambient occlusion in the final scene would still be rendered, negatively impacting performance, has been fixed.
Sound
T54E1, T54E2 — engine sound has been replaced with the more appropriate M4A3 engine sound.
Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
I don’t think theyre that fun or help anything besides force easier positioning for team deathmatch some more, what’s also strange is the bad weather that makes you take off from the runway but can manually choose to airspawn anyway on the maps that have them, which is more now too
Have to say though seeing Denmark in that list I really hope we start to get that loads more now, and it’s gets an overhaul for the graphics too soon. It’s an awesome map
The Sherman (Hell), US TT version and both M-51s still have broken suspension(there isn’t any it’s all more or less just completely stiff). Making them bounce like they’re toys when driving about. Further these and -all- HVSS equipped shermans have broken suspension animations. Where the bogies(or at least the arm/spring/shock assemblies) don’t pivot like they’re meant to be. Might(probably) be affecting suspension behaviour too and not just animations. And the the wheel arm extensions arn’t even connected to the shock absorbers.
One of the wheel arms on the Firefly (overlord) on the left rear bogie is also still completely static and not moving nor attached to the wheel.
This is all well and good, but since IFF isn’t working properly on all vehicles, this may result in teamkilling. Community Bug Reporting System See my bug report about ZSU-23-4V where the IFF incorrectly designates some Friendly as Enemy.
Can the me163 PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD get an air spawn. It never took off from a runway to my knowledge, it was designed to be launched from a giant sling if I’m not mistaken. Effectively an air spawn . Having to use literally ONE THIRD of your fuel to get airborne and over the hills in front of most airfields is INSANE. Especially when you are putting it on maps that if you don’t fly at 300kmh you can’t even make it to the battlefield. PLEASE
As you can see, it works fine for me. Looks like there is an issue in local files on your drive. You can try to delete cache. You should also try to check files integrity in launcher/steam library.
If that wont help, please submit valid bug report with data here: Community Bug Reporting System
The most famous test accident involved the Me-163 taking off from a runway, then promptly flipping and crashing into the runway upside down. They did take off from runways, maybe not under their own power, but it’d be more realistic if Gaijin gave you the ability to sling it as well
That being said though, it wouldn’t hurt to give them airspawns. Im not against it, I just wanted to point that out
Also air spawn encouraging bvr fights that can lead to 1v1s and even dfs insted of just braindead furrball that ends after 2 min
Next step is to have more spawns like aab
