Update 2.47.0.22

Customization

  • Many of you may have noticed that you were able to purchase some new camouflages, with their names being in an unusual format with file paths instead of the regular in-game names. These were/are test camouflages and/or camouflages that we use for videos etc, and were not intended to be purchasable. We’ll be removing these camouflages from the server and refund the Golden Eagles used to purchase them over the coming days. Sorry about the confusion caused here.

Aircraft

  • A bug where SAS modes sometimes did not work in full control has been fixed.
  • H.P.12 — a bug where bombs did not show on the aircraft has been fixed.
  • L-39ZA Albatros — visibility of the machine gun pods when viewed from the cockpit has been fixed.
  • L-39ZA Albatros — a bug that caused the PK-3 gunpod to not have mass has been fixed.

  • AN/AAQ-33 SNIPER ATP — incorrectly set minimum and maximum zoom values have been corrected.
  • Z.1007 (all variants) — a bug that caused the bombs to be dropped in an incorrect sequence (all from one wing first, then the other, instead of from each wing at a time) has been fixed.
  • Yak-28B — flares have been removed. (Report).
  • F/A-18C MLU 2, F/A-18C Late — a bug that caused the pre-installed weapon presets for the GBU-54B LJDAM and GBU-62 LJDAM-ER laser bombs to not have a targeting pod has been fixed. (Report).
  • Mirage IIIS C.70 (Germany) — a bug where the visual effect of the JATO system remained when turning off the SEPR 844 booster has been fixed.

Ground Vehicles

  • RakJPz 2 — horizontal aiming has been fixed.

Naval Vessels

  • IJN Yamato — a bug that caused the Scout hydroplane to launch sideways has been fixed. (Report).

Sound

  • A bug where disabling the hangar sound in the settings did not disable all of the sounds correctly has been fixed.
  • The volume of the new engine sound for the Type 10, TKX and SPz Puma under player control has been reduced to the volume level of the engines of other ground vehicles.
  • The volume of all automatic loaders has been reduced to the level of the reloading sound of other ground vehicle guns.

Other

  • A bug that caused the interaction with water on some locations to work incorrectly which allowed driving/flying into the water has been fixed.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

It wasn’t even needed to remove.
Some of them are actually cool and worth for paying even if they are 1000GE.

Did you fix the broken AAM’s yet? Because not gonna lie no one really cares about all this other stuff you keep fixing if we can’t even do the upmost basic functions of air combat.

Missiles still need to be fixed 3 explosions in range where severe damage or kill should happen but no damage at all.

There are so many bugs in every update that you should recognize this and make changes. You should update your latest development version to the test suit and release the update after the test is completed.

Why of course not, because why would the fix the single most important bug this update ._.

Too bad they removed F/A-18C Early VFA-81 AA410 skins :(

AA410 was one of MiG killer from Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

Please provide a basic report.

No fix for the markerless mode plane rendering either.

There’s a large sim event scheduled this weekend. I really hope it won’t get ruined by inability to see enemy vehicles.

Are we going to be refunded premium time whilst this missile bug is active? I got 15 days to go grind out the new aircraft and some older ones and cant because of a bug you guys still havent fixed.

Why? Just why?
Imagine taking a long break from War Thunder… only to come back and find your entire account deleted—gone forever. All your vehicles, progress, and premium items were wiped out just because you didn’t log in for 3 years.

You grind for years tech trees, premium vehicles, and golden eagles just for Gaijin to delete your account because you took a break?

Deleting accounts after 3 years of inactivity is outrageous. You’re erasing years of effort, time, and money without any real consent just a quiet clause buried in the terms. That’s not respect for your players, that’s negligence. Some of us step away for real-life reasons—military, health, or family. And you punish that with permanent loss? At the very least, accounts should be archived, not destroyed. This policy needs to change.

WHY? You trying to force player to play now?
