Moka, your post is claiming skill involving American players, thus your post is implying that Abrams is fine. Don’t cite skill when talking about vehicles.
@MrKrabsPattys
Get mad at the manufacturer of the round. They’re the ones that put 966 grams of filler in.
Soviet ERA has never stopped a main caliber APFSDS round flat on in my experience.
Tracks have cause I aimed poorly, but that can occur on every tank.
@_Ladies_Man_217
Soviet ERA is not over-performing. Relikt can stop some darts at 1.5km when at its correct angle, just as it can IRL. It’s superior to Kontakt 5 after all.
Abrams tanks are in the top 3 MBTs in-game. Largely facing inferior in-game tanks, especially the inferior Soviet tanks.
M1A1 AIM’s armor isn’t on the DU Abrams, though the DU amounts may be under-performing, that needs to be proven. They’re better than the export tests currently.
M829A3 would’ve been unironically OP and not needed when M829A2 is already the best MBT round in the game fired out of the 2nd best gun.
Outside the round, I support all fixes; which does include when things over-perform.
Last I checked the instance I found wasn’t bug reported; so are the instances you found bug reported?
I’m not mad at fixing stuff
Haven’t used those rounds in forever.
What i don’t get tho is why do they pay attention to the Abrams but only when it is to fix something that would nerf it.
This is basically all NATO MBTs unfortunately. The big massive “overhaul” they promised the CR2 resulted in more nerfs than buffs and there are still 50+ bug reports pending, some minor some massive.
They have to compare videos, cause even I found a video of AV-8B pumping soot out of the exhaust.
Might’ve been less than in-game, and it’s still soot.
Higher speeds it probably burns cleaner, and if that’s the case it’s MANY work hours to have it sooty at low speeds and cleaner at higher speeds.
I have a report with a Primary source from the RAF (Harrier Gr3 tactics manual) and a “seocndary” (probably good enough to be considered primary actually) source (Sharkey Ward’s Book) for the Sea Harrier both having no visible sooty exhasut + 6 or 7 videos of Harriers of various kinds in leveled flight with no exhaust visible.
the only videos you will find with sooty exhaust is likely the Harriers in a hover and when they have Water injection enabled (I can contest to this from first hand seeing a EAV-8B+ at RIAT last year)
I even got an additonal Primary source from NASA about the soot-less exhaust and sent it to Gunjob to add to the report but was told it was unneeded, the evidence submitted was more than enough for the matter to be fixed. But they simply havent gotten around to it yet.
The only implementation they would need to make is to have WEP produce Soot if they want maximum realism, but the fact you can spot a Harrier cross map in ASB and VID it from the soot alone, is a mjaor nerf. One of many currently plaguing the Harriers.
Granted, I usually only care that both are technically the best round, cause at the end of the day nothing else compares to A2 and DM53 in-game currently.
It dose not matter, export Abrams have the same level of protection, they are just less capable of withstanding multiple strikes to the same area as the DUs density means that the armour deforms less when struck resulting in less stress fracturing, the tungsten alloy actually has a hair better pen resistance than DU. As armour degradation is not a factor in game it is completely irrelevant weather they use tungsten export or domestic DU composites.
It’s good that you can’t spawn large ships in a map for smaller ships, though that doesn’t mean that higher-tier Destroyers should be entirely exempt from playing the map.
The instances I found on the recent ground map reworks have been yes. With that, it is in such obvious places that it should not even exist in the first place. In fact, the instances are SO obvious that it basically proves the map(s) was never in any QC at all.
I mean, it is OK to blindly love something with a passion but same time - slap back at the game where needs be.
