Interface

  • A bug that caused the visual secondary weapons selector to display the armament of the previously flown aircraft in the mission after re spawning in another aircraft has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug that caused the nuclear bomb carrying aircraft streak to not be available from the action bar on game pad controls has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug that caused the state of automatic gearbox to not apply when loading a controls preset has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the custom order of crews to not be accounted for in the window with the list of presets and in the window with the information detailing a squad member’s vehicles has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug in the display of the groups in the tech tree that caused them to look vertically misaligned with the single vehicles has been fixed.
  • The following bugs with the empty vehicles presets have been fixed (the creation of an empty preset was possible only for Israel):
    • The preset was not saved after removing the last vehicle from it.
    • When the empty preset was selected it was impossible to delete a preset or create a new one.
    • The window for vehicle selection for the crew opened when switching to a nation with a selected empty preset.
  • A bug that caused a hint on hovering over the crew block in the crew selection window to display an extra overlapping smaller crew block has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the icon of an acquired coupon to be too small in the message window has been fixed.
  • The number of backups is no longer displayed in Custom Battles in the mission block above the vehicle.
  • A hint in the battle that informed the player that there were non-distributed shells has been removed, because it led the player to believe it was bad when it wasn’t.
  • An information in the mission block for vehicles, which are not available since the beginning of the battle, has been removed to reduce clutter on the screen.
  • In the crew training window in the qualification section, icons for crew qualifications have been added to their names for better clarity.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

I applaude you Gaijin,i am unable to use universal backups in the game now. Had no backups left on my Chally Mk.2, have 1.4k universal ones tho,it didnt let me spawn the Chally like it did before.

So I figured it out. It went back to the old way. Where you have to select under the modifications tab, where you can get vehicle backups, either buy with gold lions or you can select x number of universal backups. Then it will let you do that. But I don’t like that as I want to use them whenever as often it is a spur of the moment things when I use them in the heat of a match.

Could you maybe remove the lock from roundels? In my opinion it doesn’t make sence in the current modern state of the game anymore. Players want to fight under their own countries roundels no matter the nation selected.

Some would argue that this would make sim battles harder in terms of identifying enemy tanks or planes.
But:

*Most of the time you’re at a distance where decals and roundels aren’t even visible in sim. Maybe if you really look for them while taking off from the AF but beside that you’re not gonna get close enough.

*In a lot of cases selecting a different skin also changes the stock roundels on a vehicle. Take the jap G8 or the prem kfir for example, being able to fly with an american skin. Or the dutch having skins in several nations in the game, yet the placeable roundels recently got locked to france althoigh a lot of players had to buy the triangle with ge before it got locked. Or the Czech having free acces to their roundel and having a bunch of skins scattered through out the games nations aswell.
The german 2a4 being able to use a finnish camo with a finnish roundel on it, that looks similair to the finnish 2a4 in the swedish tree. Or the soviet T series being present in a lot of the games nations these days.

*If you say roundels and camo’s are key for identification in sim battles, don’t forget that permanent roundels on vehicle skins can be covered by decals. In which case they are not visible anymore.

*On top of that, decals don’t have a lock and can be used across the board. Covering things or roundels no matter what nation you put on what vehicle. Ontop of that i’d even say decals are easier for historical identification then roundels.

So if you want to say that it is for historical identification then no, just no. We’ve passed that point a long time ago. Not to mention the amount of similair vehicles across the board. If you want historical sim battles, roundels and decals should both be locked or disabled in that logic.

So with these 4 arguments, and i’m sure there are a lot more and even better exampels, i’d like for you to reconsider the current roundel system and give us free acces to the roundels across all nations. And let us fight under our own countries roundels for which in some cases we had to wait years before they got added (RNLAF in my case).

It is getting even worse !!! With 2,37,0,84 you are killing all premium aircrafts. And this patch 2,37,0,88 is doing it even worse.

So many people who spent real money in those aircrafts and flying it as ground bombers cannot use it literally any more. Why ??? Because it is nearly impossible to bomb a base now. Unguided rockets do nearly no damage anymore. And when you are using bombs you need so many that your plain is slow like a stone.

And on top of that the amount of SL and XP was also reduced.

That is a really great progress !!! I want my money back for the Mirage F1C-200 !!!

I second this, just realized it’s making you pre select and it was an immediate frustration. Why take away this one quality of life feature. Guaranteed I’m gonna go back to not using them because it’s a pain in the ass now.

Feels like every time they do one good thing they have to undo it later and add a dozen more negatives.

The finnish camo for the 2a4 and 2a6 on germany are correctly modeled unlike the finnish ones.

Karelia and Carpathians maps are missing from the rotation since few days ago.

Okay this one actually kinda sucks because for anyone that plays naval and experiences the normally long queues they are not going to be staring at the menu for 5+ minutes and will be doing other things while waiting.
This allowed naval players the chance to grab the spawn point and ship they want rather than the last one they clicked.
