that doesn’t look like much of a fix, it just moves the base bombing advantage from one group of vehicles to another. Sounds more like base rushing optimization, trying to shift meta to different (more profitable) set of vehicles. Kinda sleazy marketing step to make sure that top BR aircraft (and probably new batch of 80$+ premiums at BR 13.0+) aren’t outperformed in braindead base bombing by old(er) vehicles.
so let’s wait for the huge surprise of what kind of vehicles Gaijin will start in next few weeks announcing for preorders for next update …
A good fighter? You have 6 missiles with 20G, which are not All-Aspect and devour flares like never before and get lost if the targets make a 10G turn and release 1 flare.
It has less than 21 minutes of fuel.
It has 120 rounds of ammunition.
It is incredibly unsustainable in a dogfight because it loses a lot of speed in turns and maneuvers.
It has ONLY 12 flares, and you are forced to split these 12 in half for chaff, because you face F-14A and Chinese and Russian jets with radar-guided missiles.
You, my friend, FRIEND, have the only option to bomb bases with rockets and try something with your last 2 mediocre missiles in battle before being shot down by a SUPERIOR missile, by a fighter superior to yours.
You know nothing about the jet, shut up and go make excuses somewhere else.
07-23-2024, gaijin nerf the base bombing, decreasing the mission points gain and increased the life points making us to use the double of bomb/rockets, with the typical excuse of ““BUGS””, Gaijin misery never stop surprising me.
And if a vehicle’s “only” useful trait is being able to abuse an exploit, you get no sympathy when it’s inevitably fixed. If a vehicle is meaningfully negatively affected by these fixes, it’ll end up going down in BR anyway.
