I’ve watched it. and it is a bit weird.
perhaps the crash counted as severe damage and was given to the closes player (or the player that dropped the bomb because the system counts it as “shooting” towards someone?)

You can actually check this yourself. When watching the replay, there is a “Statistics” button:
Where you can check the scoreboard (and see severe damages too):
You can see he wasn’t severely damaged by anyone. But even if he was severely damaged in this situation, it would change nothing, because after repairs he had a “fresh” plane anyway.
