How the hell do you draw that conclussion? Abrams has 370mm KE on the hull and a huge 50mm thick center of mass turret neck that leads to one-hit kills.
If this is an “invincible and unbalanced” vehicle to you, maybe the issue is not with the tank.

Well between the 2A7 and T-90M with the SEP/SEPv2 still using 1980 hulls and 1993 ammo… they are kinda just overrun into their spawn in pretty much every game I’ve been in.
(Which has slacked off considerably as you might imagine)
Also I just want to point out, those “defending” this change or buff to the Abrams are not saying other top MBTs shouldn’t get a more realistic or improved reload rate. Y’all absolutely should if the data backs it up. Theres a no real shortage of videos showing Abrams loaders slamming a fresh one in under five seconds. And I don’t have any reason to doubt Leopard and Challenger loaders can’t do the same. Adrenaline is a helluva drug. But getting pissy at Abrams seems…childish I guess.

I see the reload change stemming from one or more of:
-Reaction from the US community to try and buff the Abrams out immediately to prevent backlash.
-Unable to change the armor values of the SEP Abrams to include DU and/or Spall liners due sources “not being up to standards” so buffing something to reduce fallout.
-Reaction of all the new players in click bait getting burned from having no idea what weak points to aim at.
Proud to see at least one fix for the Leclerc, hopefully it will get its TLC it needs.

Exactly.
I have been advocating for Leclerc rate of fire and armor fixes (gun handling too, which was finally fixed at least) and addition of a new shell, Leopard/Strv-series fixes (including 2A7V acceleration and armor issues) and, most notoriously, Merkava and Challenger armor fixes, among many other things…
Yet as soon as I’m fine with an improvement regarding the Abrams tanks, there’s always one of two bright people saying that “I’m just an American main who wants the Abrams to be OP” lmfaooooo

This was my thought and concern too. I have a really bad vibe that Gaijin absolutely doesn’t want to improve Abram armor values and so this was a consolation prize to attempt to soften the blow. Despite it being crazy to see a what, 2008 tank have 1980s armor, I just don’t believe Gaijin is going to make the improvement.
