I’ve been abusing the fact that F-18A are OP.
I have played Germany Japan Russia and startet to play the Us air tree and i can tell you these f 18 are annoying you cant be serious and if you are you should not play high BR because these jets are very well placed at 12.7
Prediction: “Actually F-4S should be 10.7…”

It’s clearly worse than the Mig-21bis because it only had rear aspect IR missiles and SARH missile, unlike the Mig-21bis which gets all aspect missiles at a much lower BR.
This is just more proof that Gaijin hates America, and how Russian bias is a thing.
If this was about the 14.0 hornets you might actually have a point, but the 12.7 hornets are fine.
I don’t know if there’s a big difference between ML and MLD (I don’t own an ML). However, I’m really not afraid of any F/A-18s in dogfights when using a Mig-23MLD. You can also check my statistics.
the rwr and leading edge vortex generators are the only differences.

They increase the aoa a little bit. means its circle is a bit smaller but it retains energy worse than the ML/MLA
I dont think fa18 being 1 br step higher than subsonic night attack harrier with just 4 9ls is competitive either.

F-18s are under BRed. Both the 12.3 ones and the 12.7s ones. Part of this is due to compression, but that can at least be partially mitigated pretty quickly with a 0.3 BR increase.
The F-18A is probably more comprable to the Mig-29s at 12.7 and compared to what 12.3 should be (Kurnass, F4Ej Kai, Tornado F3) it is incredibly strong and the F-18Cs with the Aim-7Ps probably compare reasonably well to the F-15A. Aim-9M might be required for them, but their main asset is those Aim-7Ps so I dont think it would make a huge difference, especially at the moment with the current state of 9Ms.
But you are proposing a BR of what? 11.7? for the F-18C. That is truly insane. Compared to most 12.0 aircraft, the F-18A absolutely curbstomps them. Even the best of the 12.0s the Tornado F3, an aircraft that could probably do with being 12.3 with the right buffs, is weaker in most respects to the F-18s and that is with the F-18 just running Aim-7M. Aim-7P changes that equation entirely, being the second best SARH in-game.
The only possible way the F-18 could be any lower than 12.7 is if it got major nerfs. Like swpping 9Ls out for 9G/Hs or something, As well as being limited to 7Ms, there is literally no way for it to move down otherwise
