Uneven Br 8.3 vs 9.3

Why am I opposing 9.3 tanks with only an 8.3 tank? The Br is so messed up.

cause thats how the BR system works

BR’s work as a +1 -1

Fulldowntier = -1 BR from ur own (example 8.3 → downtiered to face 7.3’s)

Full uptier = +1 BR from ur own (Example 8.3 → uptiered to face 9.3)

if u think 8.3 facing 9.3 is messed up, imagine 7.3’s facing 8.3’s, some having thermals/lrf/stablisers/apds

What i find really odd is that you only realized this at 8.3!!!

The game is based on a (up to) +1BR since BR1…when you play BR1.0 you can fight opps up to BR2.0…and this repeats on all BRs!

USUALLY you get most opps around +0.3 and -0.3 BR of your TOP vehicle…but it depends on luck and other factors…

EDIT:
If NOT clear…on ANY battle, most your targets/attackers will be closer to your BR…you MAY have +1 enemies (and team mates), but most enemies will NOT be +1

Actually it’s not true, for example in naval battles you could participate in battle 8 vs 8 or even less, where 4 of your and 4 of enemy ships will be +1 and all others is lesser than that - which is not “most” but “even” or “less”, in 7 vs 7 and lesser players battles. Which create huge disbalance in battles.

Further than that you could get battles when one team will have +1 players and other team will heave none +1, only lesser than that like 8.7 vs 8.0.

I think +1 rule should be not 4 players max, but 25% players max, so 5 vs 5 battle will only have 1 uptieared player.

I haven’t played naval so i don’t know…
It is still true on GF at least…which was what i meant…

Naval seems to be having issues due to lower player numbers mixed with a steep tech tree…based on discussion only…
