Boosters can increase an average player’s gains quite substantially and are something that can be received for free almost daily. Through Warbond shop, Daily log in bonuses, Battle pass rewards, Assault game mode rewards and more. But those boosters have an expiration date, and upon being received a 72 hour countdown begins, incentivizing the player to use them sooner than later.
That last point however isn’t something that’s always possible for many people due to being busy and whatnot, so their boosters often end up being unused until they completely expire. Furthermore boosters carry a lot of potential value and many people will try and attempt to maximize that potential by playing specific vehicles, line ups and game modes they find most profitable rather than most enjoyable, among other reasons to put the boosters off for later use.
But what can the players do to extend the shelf life of their boosters? Well I’m glad you asked! Activating the boosters makes them valid for the next 24 hours regardless of how much time the unactivated boosters has had left. Meaning that even if a booster had only 1 minute left until expiration , it still becomes valid for the full 24 hours after activation. And since it was going to go to waste anyway, there’s no harm in activating and using the booster.
I argue that this process should be automated (or at least be a togglable option in case someone consciously decides not to use any boosters ever). This would benefit both the casual and the committed players all the same by giving them another chance to put that booster to use.
