As above, never had this issue before but when trying to download most recent update all i get is “not enough access rights to perform this operation” i have never had this issue before and ive tried reinstalling ive tried launching as admin not sure what else to do.
any assistance appreciated
I had something like this pop up once, in the past week, and I just closed the launcher, and the agent (Systray icon thingo) and relaunched the launcher and it worked.
Do you use the websites launcher, or do you use Steam?
You shouldn’t need to run the game as admin, just a normal user should be fine. This should be an error/mistake from windows.
(Edit - This also depends on whether or not you’re facing this as even possibly restarting your PC could make this go away)
im using the website launcher, sadly i have tried all of the above and it hasn’t worked so far.
If you run antivirus, be sure to whitelist/exempt the main game folder, not just the exe.
I’d also check it’s not in a folder which is being monitored by OneDrive (I’ve had someone had issues with that a long while back where it turned out they were syncing the game folder to the cloud.)
